Officer Ashraf is late for his fiancée's birthday party as he was chasing a thief named El Noss, whom he caught, and found a dead woman in her home. Amina, Ahmed's wife, suffers a severe bout of illness at the party, and becomes in need of a costly operation.

2nd Episode

Ahmed sells his wife's jewelry to pay the hospital expenses, but the amount is not enough for the operation. He tries to negotiate with the manager in vain and decides to sell his car. Raghda begins her work as a nurse in the hospital and prepares to marry Hassan despite the objection of his family.

3rd Episode

Ahmed sneaks into the hospital's accounts office and steals the money in it. Raghda sees him and quarrels with him, so he pushes her into the ray of flame with which he opened the safe. Amina dies before the operation, and Ashraf investigates Raghda's accident.

4th Episode

Ashraf arrests El Noss on charges of stealing the hospital. As Hassan visits Raghda in the hospital and hints at leaving her, she becomes permanently disabled and loses her sight. As Ahmed asks to settle his pension and open a lawyer’s office, he decides to defend El Noss.

5th Episode

Raghda collapses after losing her sight. Tariq, Ahmed's son, is devastated by his mother's death. The hospital director seizes a check that the treasurer found after the accident. As Ahmed meets Raghda and tries to offer his help, she asks him to file a lawsuit against the hospital.

6th Episode

In court, El Noss testifies that he confessed under pressure, but he did not commit the crime. As Ashraf and Raghda give their testimonies, Ahmed defends El Noss. Ashraf worries about Nada's actions, after she objects to his moving to Assiut. As El Noss dies in prison, the case is closed.

Raghda breaks off the engagement. Ashraf decides to find where the money is hidden. The chief accountant finds a document for cashing the check from the teller after the accident, and the teller informs legal affairs about Salam, who is accused of robbing the hospital.

Ahmed approaches Raghda, who asks him to file a compensation lawsuit, and hints that he's attracted to her. As Ashraf takes over his job in Assiut, he gets shot in the back. Ahmed asks Enas about her personal life, and he asks for her hand to Ashraf, while she thinks that he wants her for himself.

As Enas visits Ashraf in the hospital with her father, she is surprised to learn that Ahmed will marry Raghda. Ahmed takes a new law office and decides to expand the work and hire new lawyers. The hospital director is enraged by the compensation case.

The hospital owner offers Ahmed money to settle out of court, but he asks for a larger sum. Nightmares haunt Raghda and remind her of the accident. As Raghda’s uncle decides to treat her abroad to regain her sight, Ahmed tries to postpone her treatment. The lawyer Nawal joins the office.

Ahmed marries Raghda. Salam’s wife asks Ahmed to defend him and Raghda feels that he is not the culprit. Fifi is shocked when Salem marries another woman because she can't have children. The ophthalmologist checks Raghda's case, which worries Ahmed.

Ashraf marries Enas. A dying patient named Saeed asks to write his will, leaving his money to Raghda for taking care of him. Ahmed's office is robbed by an unknown person, who's looking for a check that incriminates him. As Saeed dies, Raghda gets accused of killing him, as she was visiting him.

Ahmed decides to open an ophthalmology clinic for the poor, and he asks the court to postpone the case of Salam, who testifies in Raghda's favor in the case, in which she's accused. Nawal tries to get close to Ahmed. As two thieves attack the house, Raghda gets hit in the head and regains her sight.

Raghda discovers that Ahmed is the reason behind her losing her sight, and Ashraf doubts that she's hiding something, especially after finding a ring that she lost on the day of the hospital accident in Ahmed's bag. Raghda travels to London for treatment.

Ashraf asks Ahmed about the ring he found in his bag. Ahmed runs for parliament. Raghda undergoes the operation and regains her vision and tells her mother what Ahmed did. Nawal chases Ahmed and asks him to marry her. Raghda decides to hide the matter from Ahmed.

Finale

As Raghda returns from London, Ashraf, who receives them, suspects something amiss. Salam denies committing the crime. Ashraf confirms that Ahmed has robbed the hospital and reports it. As Ahmed regrets what he did, Raghda forgives him and he goes on trial.
