Ryan Bingham is a man with a very odd job. He travels to offices across the United States in order to execute layoffs. His job has him travelling most of the time and he has found a comfortable life for himself. However, Natalie Keener, a rapidly-rising young co-worker at Ryan’s head office, threatens to throw his world off balance by proposing that firing should be done through the internet.
