Abu Ra'ouf suffers from the interference of neighbors in his life with his wife, and after his son Emad graduates, he quarrels with him in order to find work.

Abu Ra'ouf is still annoyed by Emad's situation and makes him work as a builder, and then as a blacksmith. Emad finds out about a competition for teachers and after he applies, he waits for the test result. Emad submits a request to work abroad.

After the travel plan fails, Emad works in selling smuggled cigarettes, but after the police chase him, he runs away and decides to give up that job. Abu Ra'ouf confirms the lack of job opportunities. Gamil evades retirement with his work with Adnan and Marwan.

Emad finds out that he got hired in a chemical laboratory as a replacement for Gamil after his retirement, and the latter grieves because of his obsession with work. Gamil continues to go to the laboratory and chases Adnan and Marwan.

As Abu Ra'ouf urges Emad to marry, Marwan and Adnan begin arranging meetings between Emad and potential brides for marriage. Emad admires the young woman Nazek and proposes to her. But after she tells him that she was forced to get engaged, he seeks to make her family hate him.

As Emad admires Gamil’s daughter, Maysa, as soon as he meets her, they get engaged. His colleagues suffer from his long telephone conversations with her, so Marwan quarrels with him.

Emad's family complains about his neglect of them, while Gamil suffers from Emad's frequent visits to his home, which causes tension between the two families. Gamil and Abu Ra'ouf look for a way to balance the matter. Emad asks to speed up the wedding date.

After Emad and Maysa's marriage, they live in his father's house, but soon Umm Ra'ouf (Ra'ouf's mother) begins to cause problems with Maysa and pull pranks on her.

Maysa reprimands Umm Ra'ouf after hearing her speak badly about her mother. Umm Ra'ouf accuses her of betraying Emad when she talks on the phone. After Emad and Maysa search for an apartment, his mother's quarrels with Maysa increase.

Emad and Maysa move to his father-in-law’s house after his father beats him because of Umm Ra'ouf. Emad suffers from his father-in-law’s comments about his life. Emad finds a rental apartment, while Emad’s parents are sad that Emad hasn't called them.

Emad reconnects with his parents again and moves with Maysa to their new apartment. Emad faces a financial crisis, so he borrows from those around him and sells their gold.

As the end of the month approaches, Emad, Marwan, and Adnan are facing a serious situation when they run out of money, as each of them faces emergency circumstances that require having money with them.

When Emad finds an amount of money on the street, he hands it over to the police. But when he finds another sum of money, he decides to spend it, but it turns out that it is forged. Marwan, Adnan, and Emad compete to get a training course in France, and after the lottery, Marwan wins.

When Marwan fails in preparing his papers, Emad decides to travel instead of him, but after his father’s illness, Adnan prepares to travel. Eventually, the task falls to the careless employee, Ghassan.

As Emad, Gamil, Adnan, and Marwan become obsessed with winning the 'Dream Treasure Contest', they are shocked by their high phone bills.

When the employee Taleb, who was previously arrested, returns to work, everyone avoids him so that they don't get into trouble. As Taleb suffers from the difficulty of blending in with his colleagues, his daughter Salam is sad when they refuse to visit his home.

Gamil treats Taleb badly when he visits him to pay off an old debt. Taleb talks about corruption in the laboratory and his colleagues evade him. Emad invites Taleb to dinner. Taleb takes over the headship of the laboratories.

When Marwan and Adnan win an apartment from the Housing Association, they discover that the matter is not easy; as there is corruption behind it that calls for the intervention of the judiciary to change the association committee.

Marwan suffers from Gamil's interference in arranging his apartment, and as he faces a financial problem, he resorts to selling it and buys a car in partnership with Adnan. Abu Ra'ouf fails to get an apartment so that his children may inherit it.

Marwan and Abu Ra'ouf work as taxi drivers. Emad's friend, Mahmoud, gets him into trouble after he takes his girlfriend to his home. As the car fines increase, they require huge sums to be paid.

After the car's problems increase, Marwan and Adnan decide to sell it. As Mother’s Day comes, Emad arranges gifts. When Emad gets stuck with inviting Adnan and Marwan to dinner, he sells the radio to pay the dinner costs.

Emad is surprised that the gift of his guests is the same as his old radio. Umm Ra'ouf is suspicious that her husband will remarry a young woman, and then she discovers that he is her guardian after her father passed away. Emad finds an ad in the newspaper bearing his name regarding taxes.

After Gamil tries to save Emad from a misunderstanding with the tax authority, he gets him into more trouble. As Emad seeks to prove the truth, he suffers tremendously, while Adnan has problems with taxes as well.

Adnan turns to his relative to help him. When Emad, Adnan, and Marwan participate in a lottery competition, Marwan wins, and everyone starts borrowing from him.

After they borrowed from Marwan, Emad and Adnan's project fails. As Marwan finds it difficult to refuse to lend his acquaintances, the lottery money runs out. Adnan decides to have a child with his wife after meeting Marwan's daughter.

After discovering that Sou'ad can't have children, Adnan marries the widow, Nada, and Sou'ad asks him for a divorce. But when Adnan regrets what he has done, he tries to get Sou'ad back.

After Adnan divorces Nada, Sou'ad makes him suffer before she returns to him. When a misunderstanding happens between Emad and Maysa, Gamil intervenes to reconcile them. Shaker returns after his long absence to meet Marwan and Adnan.

Everyone gets close to Shaker because of his wealth. When Marwan gets stuck with inviting Shaker and Adnan to dinner, he imagines the police will arrest him for not paying the bill, but in the end, Shaker pays the bill.

Marwan, Adnan, and Emad participate with Shaker in a joint project. Marwan is surprised by the presence of the mysterious man Sabry who demands part of the profits in exchange for protecting the project.

After Emad becomes suspicious of Maysa for paying his debts, he begins to watch her. When he confronts her, she tells him about her new work. When Gamil intervenes to help Marwan protect the project, he gets him in trouble.

Emad is shocked to discover that his wife works as a sales representative and makes her quit. But he returns to quarrel with her when she completes the last sale and goes to Gamil's house. Marwan's involvement with the unknown men deepens.

Emad and his wife reconcile. Maysa is blackmailed with Lamia by a client because they sell unlicensed products, so Emad and Gamil try to solve the issue.

Emad resolves Maysa's dilemma. When Abu Ra'ouf announces his travel to work abroad, his family suspects that it is an illegal work. Emad and Maysa move to spend the night with Umm Ra'ouf. Marwan discovers that Abu Ra'ouf is in jail.

After Abu Ra'ouf's return, he reveals to his family that he was a prisoner in place of Abu Sotaif for a sum of money, which makes Emad resentful; Gamil urges him to work with them.

Abu Ra'ouf's new work stops because of Gamil. When Nawal suffers from Gamil's neglect, Maysa works to change her mother's appearance. Abu Ra'ouf's friend, Abu Hammam, leaves a bag with him during his absence.

After worrying about the bag, Abu Ra'ouf puts it in Emad's house. When Emad discovers that the bag is empty, Abu Ra'ouf informs the police. When Abu Hammam returns, the police discover that his house was burgled.

Marwan is surprised by many gifts at his house from unknown persons asking for his help. He discovers that he shares a similar name with a fugitive criminal, so the police arrest him.

As Maysa gets pregnant, Emad suffers from her mood swings and finds that she's having difficulties with her pregnancy. Sou'ad grieves for her inability to conceive. Marwan makes his sons work in a workshop.

Maysa survives after giving birth, despite having a problem with her heart. Abu Ra'ouf gives Emad a sum of money he received in exchange for vacating his apartment. Emad decides to build his own apartment.

Emad and Gamil discover that the roof has a legal dispute. When the seller refuses to return Emad's money, he turns to court, and the money is returned in installments.

As Abu Ra'ouf and his wife move to Emad's house, Umm Ra'ouf resumes picking fights with Maysa. Emad suffers from Maysa's neglect. Marwan's children get their parents into a new trouble.

When Emad and Maysa leave their home to Abu Ra'ouf and move to Gamil's house, Gamil begins to bother Emad, so he decides to move to a hotel. Marwan regrets his violent upbringing of his children because it ruined their lives.
