Set in the 1940s; Abu Falah (Falah's father) marries a woman from outside his family, so his father Saud forces him to divorce her. As the years pass, Falah is surprised to learn that he has a sister named Nora, and is shocked when he discovers her marriage to Shehab, his rival in the market.
