In a flashback, Saud prevents his son Abu Falah (Falah's father) from marrying some girl from outside his family. Shehab aspires to marry Lulua, but he learns that Falah is in a relationship with her, after which Shehab prepares to travel to trade with the shipmaster Ahmed.

Falah asks the shipmaster that they be partners in the trade, so he gives his money to Shehab, who promises him that he'll bring him the goods after his return from travel.

Munira asks Falah's uncle to sell the house, but he refuses. Abu Muhammad asks his wife Fatima to get Lulua engaged to Shehab, whom Abu Mani tells about his secret marriage to an Indian woman.

Falah is upset that his uncle has agreed to wed his daughter Lulua to Shehab. Umm Falah (Falah's mother) tells her son that their house is among those up for appraisal, after which he is surprised to learn that Nora is his sister, and Abu Muhammad falls seriously ill.

Falah decides to falsely claim that his sister, Nora, is dead in order to get the entire amount of the house appraisal. Abu Ahmed asks Abu Mani to tell everyone that Nora is his sister's daughter and that she is alive, while the doctor tells Abu Ali that Abu Muhammad's health is deteriorating.

Abu Mani remembers Abu Falah’s wish that he take care of his daughter Nora. At the same time, Falah tells his mother that he doubts the presence of his sister Nora in Bahrain, and on the other hand, Baqma demands that her husband provide for her.

Falah is upset by his mother's testimony before the appraisal committee that he has a surviving sister named Nora, and she tells Abu Ali that Abu Falah did not divorce his first wife after his father's death.

Abu Ali asks Abu Muhammad to search for Nora, after which Abu Ali quarrels with Khalaf and accuses him of robbing Abu Muhammad. Meanwhile, the shipmaster and Shehab return from travel, and Falah demands that Abu Muhammad give him his goods.

Abu Ahmed assures Falah that his goods have been shipped, while Abu Muhammad is shocked when he learns that Shehab has married someone other than Lulua, upon which he advises Abu Ahmed not to tell anyone and keep his marriage a secret.

Shehab tells Abu Muhammad of his marriage to Nora, while Falah asks Abu Ali to testify with him that his sister Nora is dead, and Shehab learns that Abu Muhammad's days are numbered.

As Abu Muhammad dies, Shehab marries Lulua, after which Shehab is surprised when Abu Mani and Nora visit him at his home, and Lulua discovers his marriage to another woman.

Abu Ahmed reconciles Lulua and Nora, and the two live together in Shehab's house. Meanwhile, Falah agrees with Baqma to impersonate Nora in order for him to get the amount of the house appraisal.

Falah seeks to wage war on Shehab in the market, so he offers his goods at the lowest prices. Also, Falah tries to find out about Nora and the reason for her presence in Shehab's house.

Falah forges a deed of debt claiming it's from Abu Mani and has him jailed in the police station, but Umm Falah testifies to the contrary and saves Abu Mani from jail. Shehab is shocked when he learns that his shop has been burned.

Falah discovers that Nora is his sister, and he rages when he learns of her marriage to Shehab, so he quarrels with him and tries to shoot him.
