When Abu Raed (Raed's father) reveals to Fares that his father used to be married to a Lebanese woman who gave him a daughter called Rasha, Fares goes to Lebanon to see her.
In Lebanon, Fares meets his stepmother. As Qais proposes to Hadeel, his mother tries to convince her to agree. Hadeel is upset that Fares has left the country without telling her.
Hessa recovers from the shock of her husband's death. As Fares meets his sister Rasha, he thinks about trying to get her to go to Kuwait with him.
Hadeel agrees to marry Qais. Fares returns to Kuwait and tells Mariam that their father had another wife. Abu Raed is upset that Rasha didn't return to Kuwait with Fares.
As Fares meets his friend Loai after the latter's return from Afghanistan, he tries to convince him to work with him. When Fares tells Hadeel about his sister and the circumstances that led him to go to Lebanon, she breaks off her engagement to Qais.
Rashed ask Fares to tell Hessa that her husband had another wife and daughter. Sultan threatens his brother Fares to prevent him from exposing the truth about his business.
As Fares meets the businessman Mansour, he offers to work with him. Raed tells Loai that he is ready to get married.
In order to work with Fares, Mansour stipulates that he must run his factory. Hadeel warns her mother that her brother, Hamad, is behaving oddly. When Hessa looks for her husband's phone, Mariam grows concerned that she might find out the truth.
As Fares becomes the manager of Mansour's factory, they discuss the various problems facing him. Fares offers Sultan a job, but the latter refuses to take him up on it.
As Fares starts working at the factory, he discovers the rampant corruption there. The financial manager tries to get close to Fares to cover up the corruption. Mariam gets pregnant.
When Rasha tells Fares that she is in Kuwait, he is forced to tell his mother that his father had another wife. As the police arrest Eskandar, Raed asks Fares to intervene to get him released.
Raed and Loai decide to dissolve their partnership with Fares after the latter abandons Eskandar. Mansour offers to become Fares's partner.

Loai and Raed decide to help Fares with the issue of his brother, stepping in to help smuggle Sultan out of the country.
As Sultan bids his mother farewell, Fares tells him that he will be going to Iraq. Fares decides to marry Hadeel behind her family's back. As Mariam gives birth to her first child, it's revealed that the baby is disabled.
Fares buys a house to live in with Hadeel. As Loai falls for Fares's sister Rasha, Fares talks to Loai about working with him on his new project. Rashed is asked to support Mariam as she looks after their disabled child.

Reem reveals to Fares the truth about Hadeel's mother's allegations. Mariam dies in childbirth, leaving Rashed to care for the baby; Rasha steps in to help with the baby. The police arrest Mansour on corruption charges.
