Heba scolds Sayed for picking a flower from the university garden, and Sameh intervenes to cool things down. Sayed tells Sameh he intentionally did that to get her to talk to him so that he gets to know the girl who always precedes him in the class rank.
Sayed argues with his sister-in-law Safinaz and tells her along his brother Ahmed that he will not give up his share in the family home. Meanwhile, Sayed and Heba confess their feelings to one another, and Sameh is angry they did so without telling him.
Sayed stands against Safinaz's decision to kick Qassem out of the villa. Sayed visits Sameh and asks him to forgive him for not telling him about Heba. Meanwhile, Heba tells her family about Sayed.
Safinaz convinces her husband to forge Sayed's signature so they can take over his share of the house, and Sayed and Ahmed argue over Safinaz's cunning nature. Meanwhile, Sayed introduces Heba to Sameh's mother, Galila.
Heba tells Dr. Fahmy that she sent a letter to her father telling him about her relationship with Sayed. Meanwhile, Saleh refuses to wed his daughter Heba to the son of the master whom he works for.
Saleh sends a letter to his his daughter Heba telling her he trusts her, and asks the manager of the dorms not to restrict her in any way. Later, Saleh passes away, and Heba is devastated by his death.
The exam results come out, and Sayed is angry that Heba is top of the class. Heba feels Sayed is unhappy about her success. However, when he proposes to her, she accepts.
Heba tells Sayed to sue his brother for his rights after he forged his signature on a waiver for his share in the family home. Meanwhile, Fahmy gets his friend to hire Sayed, Sameh, and Heba in his architecture firm.
Ahmed gathers all his siblings and tells them Sayed has sued him, pitting them against him. Meanwhile, Sayed's coworkers complain about his bad attitude, and the manager learns of that they've said.
Sayed takes a new job with triple the salary he receives at El Bostan's firm. El Bostan warns Heba about Sayed and tells her his greed will take over him soon.
Ahmed and Safinaz die in a car accident, and Sayed does not postpone his and Heba's wedding despite his brother's death. Also, he does not invite any member of his family.
Sayed tells Heba to quit teaching at the university and become a housewife. However, she strongly refuses and tells him not to broach this subject with her again.
Heba sees that Sayed is dishonest at work. Dr. Fahmy warns Heba about Sayed and asks her how he's opened his own firm so quickly, giving her proof that her suspicions about his illegal activity is true.
Sayed asks Heba to postpone her master's degree to have a baby, and she refuses. Meanwhile, the dean discovers that Heba is still working at El Bostan, so he questions her, and she then chooses to teach at the university to pursue her master's degree.
Sameh tells Heba that Sayed sent the letter that almost got her fired from the university. Heba gets arrested, and she discovers Sayed has implicated her in the design of a hospital that fell and tens of people fell victims. Sameh discovers that Sayed sold everything and fled the country.
