Set in Karkh, Baghdad; Aba Wahb, a wise and righteous man, solves problems in the city. The Caliph was going to appoint him to the position of chief judge. He feared for his religion, so he ordered him to pretend to be crazy. As people begin to see him going out with a cane and riding it, they give him the name Bahlol.
