Diana meets her secret lover Bassel and asks him to move his wife to another house. Diana's husband Abed refuses to divorce Diana and advises her not to make a fuss. Hanady wakes up after giving birth to discover that her husband has been kidnapped and her house has been destroyed.

Abed tries to separate his daughter Talia from Diana. Bassel tells his wife that he broke up with Diana and that he bought a new house. Bassel and Diana agree to meet at his house but Diana is shocked when Abed arrives before she leaves.

Abed is involved in arms trafficking. Diana gives Bassel an ultimatum to get him to divorce Sara. Hanady starts looking for Ayham.

As the fights between Bassel and Sara escalate, Abed physically assaults Diana for hosting her uncle at their house. Diana swears revenge.

When Bassel goes to Abed's house, he is furious to see Diana with Abed. When Sara finds Diana's messages to Bassel, she asks for a divorce but Bassel tells her that he is keeping those message to extort Diana.

As Bassel looks to take revenge on Diana, he reconsiders and tells her that Sara is trying to extort them both using their messages. Abed goes to Syria. Bassel informs Diana that he will divorce Sara when Abed divorces her.

Abed asks his mother to travel with him but she refuses and tells him that he is the reason his brother was killed. Bassel learns that Sara is pregnant. Sara promises to stand by Bassel till he breaks up with Diana.

Bassel and Diana start working together, but filming is interrupted when it's discovered that Talia vanished from school. Diana suspects Bassel and Sara. Abed returns to look for his daughter. The mother of Talia's friend calls Diana and tells her Talia's location.

After Talia returns, she asks her parents to reconcile for her sake. Diana apologizes for suspecting Bassel. Hanady tries to put together some money for Ayham's rescue. Abed tries to contact a gang to rescue a kidnapped man.

Abed visits Kamal to ask for the return of a kidnapped man in exchange for money. Diana is upset that Abed doesn't want Talia to leave the house unless he is present.

Abed refuses to divorce Diana and insists that Talia stays with him. Bassel and Diana fight over her accusations and she begs him not to leave her.

When it's discovered that Bassel's son has a hole in his heart, Diana promises to help. After his kidnapped client's son is killed, Abed recalls his own brother's death and visits his mother. He saves Hanady from a war bombing and decides to look for Kamal.

Abed agrees to divorce Diana, who breaks down when she learns of Sara's pregnancy. But Sara suffers from miscarriage after Diana goes to see her. Abed takes revenge on Kamal. A man called Eiad tells Hanady that Ayham has been detained and promises to help.

Kamal sends his men to kill Talia but Diana is shot instead and falls into a coma. Bassel's son undergoes a successful surgery.

Hanady discovers that Abed is a lawyer. Abed thinks over Diana's previous threat to kidnap Talia and expose his illegal arms trade. Hanady confirms that Ayham is alive.

When Bassel visits Diana at the hospital, he is surprised by Abed's arrival, but tells him that he is grateful to Diana for saving his son. Haneen warns Bassel against raising Abed's suspicions about him and Diana.

Diana wakes up. The prostitute Wafaa flees to Bassel's place after her pimp Nabil beats her, but her friend Fetoon brings her back. Hanady is fired when her boss learns that Ayham is a political prisoner.

Hanady discovers that Eiad was lying about knowing Ayham's location and enlists Abed's help. Diana is released from the hospital, she insists on getting a divorce and Abed obliges.

Bassel asks Diana for forgiveness and she tells him to return to his son. When Wafaa causes a scandal at the nightclub, Nabil kicks her out. Hanady follows Eiad.

Diana gives up her artistic career. Bassel proposes and she accepts. Hanady meets Abed and recounts her story.

When Wafaa is unable to find a place to live, she returns to Nabil's house. Abed orders his men to find Kamal's family. Bassel and Diana grow closer.

Bassel's son gets ill in his absence so Nabil helps Sara, which makes Bassel furious. Abed's men kill Kamal's son.

Diana discovers that her need for divorce was due to her hatred of Abed, not her love for Bassel. Nabil tells Wafaa that her ex-husband is looking for her. Diana and Abed sign the divorce papers.

Abed tells Diana that he is leaving the country and asks her not to go to the house. Abed and Hanady get close after she starts working for him. Bassel and Diana fight when he accuses her of deliberately residing in a building that belongs to a pimp. Fetoon advises Wafaa to leave the building.

Fetoon warns Sara about Nabil's set up. Kamal's men continue to watch Abed's family. Abed plots to bring Hanady to his location. Fetoon starts watching Bassel.

When Abed sees Bassel and Diana at Talia's school, he fights with her and tells her not to return to the limelight for their safety, but she refuses. Nabil brings over a new girl called Farah.

Hanady goes to Abed. When Abed's mother learns that Hanady is working for him, she warns her friend Hoda that he has ulterior motives. Bassel and Diana continue to get close.

Abed comes clean to Hanady about his brother and his relationship with his mother. Fetoon plans to contact Abed about Diana and Bassel's relationship so she could escape Nabil. Bassel and Sara fight as she asks him not to reveal his relationship with Diana just yet.

Diana tells Bassel that Talia hates him and asks him to go back to his wife, but Sara kicks him out. Fetoon tells Abed about Bassel and Diana and about Nabil's attempt to lure Sara into prostitution.

Diana tells Bassel about her wish for them to come out after her play ends. Abed forces Bassel to give Talia up. Diana is worried when both Bassel and Talia disappear.

Abed takes Talia to his mother's house. A worried Diana has a fight with Sara when she suspects that Bassel kidnapped Talia.

As Diana confronts Sara, Sara promises that she doesn't know Talia or Bassel's whereabouts, and that she will tell her if she finds out. Abed asks Fetoon to get Sara to grant him entry.

Diana discovers that Abed is the one who took Talia. Abed burns their divorce papers then beats Diana and plays a record in which Bassel says he doesn't love her.

Abed promises Sara to pay for both her and her son to leave Bassel. Kamal visits Abed's office when Hanady is there.

Hanady meets Abed and warns him against Kamal. They start to get close and he asks her to look out for Talia when he is gone.

Diana reveals that she loves Bassel because she feels secure with him. Abed refuses to reveal Talia's location, but he brings Sara to Bassel so they can get divorced.

Abed asks Diana's friend Haneen to write a film script called "The Diary of a Former Mistress" detailing Diana's love story. Abed helps Sara leave the country.

Abed releases Bassel who breaks down when he learns that Sara has left. Abed divorces Diana. Wafaa's ex-husband finds her and kills her.

Bassel blames Diana for Sara's departure. Abed shows Bassel fabricated photos of Sarah with another man. Nabil transfers Farah to another house.

Abed tips the press about Diana's relationship with Bassel. Diana retaliates by releasing a video in which she exposes Abed's illegal activities and his kidnap of Talia.

Diana's video leaves Abed in trouble with government officials. Bassel uncovers some personal information about Abed. Fetoon breaks down over Wafaa's death as Farah takes revenge on Nabil.

Bassel decides to kill Abed in front of Talia but Diana tells him that she won't let him. Hanady refuses Abed's proposal to stay with him and forget about her husband.

Diana begs Hanady to tell her Talia's location. She writes her diaries. Abed reveals that he knows where Ayham is.

Hanady's sister Hoda flee the war in Syria with her son. Diana gives her diaries to Haneen and asks her to give them to Talia

Abed reunites Ayham and Hanady, and decides to bring Talia back to her mother. But before he is able to, he is killed by Bassel who in turn is killed by Kamal. Diana commits suicide.
