Bahloul causes a ruckus among the residents of the building after he gives the belongings of one woman to another, causing both women to be mad at him. Abu Sa'eid and his wife buy an apartment in Building 22, after making an agreement with the broker, Umm Dalal (Dalal's mother).

When Nagla moves into Building 22, the men of the building flirt with her, much to the ire of their women. Abu Sa'eid celebrates his new residence in the building.

Nabih and Bahloul ruin one of Nagla's paintings. Selim quarrels with his wife over her tardiness at work.

The gallery's owner likes Nagla's painting and informs her that he will showcase it in an international exhibit. Nagla loses it when she hears about it.

The residents of Building 22 have a meeting to discuss the issues they face. They end up electing Nabih and Abu Sa'eid as new members of the building's board of directors.

Bahloul makes big trouble for the building after he sabotages the phone cables, only to quarrel with the official from the phone company along with Abu Dalal (Dalal's father).

Some guy is introduced to Bahloul and gets information from him that he then uses to defraud Abu Sa'eid. Bahloul discovers that Selim has another wife after overhearing a conversation between Selim and his new wife.

When one of the building's residents finds Bahloul and his friend Debo having fun at his apartment, he grows wroth and decides to report them to the police. Bahloul causes a quarrel to erupt between Samiha and Umm Dalal.

In order to prevent Bahloul from being swindled by any of the merchants, Nabih starts giving him lessons in exchange for Bahloul singing the song that Nabih has written, so that the latter can use it for his advertising job.

As Selim summons the residents of the building, no one responds, forcing him to enlist Bahloul's help. Bahloul uses the street's children to trick the residents into answering the summoning.

Selim's second wife tries to harass his other wife. Bahloul causes a disaster when he uses artemisia to repel mosquitos, only to cause a fire to break out in the building.

As the men of the building gather, they decide to get Nagla to join the board. Nagla promptly has new suggestions to make.

When Bahloul gets a bad toothache, Nagla convinces him to go to the dentist. Bahloul follows her advice, and the dentist takes one of his molars out.

Despite the tension between his two wives, Selim's first wife announces her willingness to live with his other wife in the same house. As Selim talks his second wife into accepting the offer, the two women start getting close.

Nabih convinces Bahloul to work with him in advertising. Bahloul's first job is an ad for a shampoo, which becomes a smash hit.

Umm Dalal gets swindled. Bahloul becomes famous after people listen to his new song. Abu Sa'eid decides to maintain his job as a barber. An order is issued by the government to demolish Building 22.
