No'man of Banu Amir (Amir's tribe) falls in love with Hend, the granddaughter of the head merchant of Banu Al-Harith (Al-Haith tribe). When Hend and her grandfather convert to Islam, they refuse No'man's proposal since he is an infidel, as the Muslims of Banu Al-Harith are tortured to give up Islam.
