Abdel Moneim tells his uncle of his desire to get engaged to Samiha. Suleiman tells his wife Zahira that the town’s deputy has proposed to their daughter Samiha, but he refuses her marriage to the son of his enemy. Ismail forces Suleiman to accept reconciliation between him and Abdel Moneim’s father.

Suleiman is forced to agree to Samiha's marriage to Abdel Moneim. Saadia refuses to marry Saber. As Abdel Moneim travels to work in the health unit, he is surprised that there are many deaths as a result of a clash between the people of the town.

As Abdel Moneim dies in a shooting accident in the town, Samiha suffers a psychological trauma. Sheikh Hamed decides that she should see a psychiatrist, but her father rejects the idea.

As Ezzat's grandmother advises her grandson to stay away from the problems of Suleiman and his daughter, he insists on attending the reconciliation between Hamed and Suleiman. Ezzat undertakes the construction of a mosque and school in the name of the late Dr. Abdel Moneim.

Darwish tells Samiha of his concern for Ezzat, and that he guards him because there is someone who wants to kill him. The gypsy woman, Umm Samira, tells Ezzat that Suleiman wants to kill him. As Samiha passes her exams, she travels to Egypt to go to college.

Suleiman tries to persuade his daughter, Samiha, to marry the mayor's son, but she refuses. Ezzat becomes attached to Samiha.

As Hassan refuses to marry Saadia, she reluctantly agrees to marry Saber. Ezzat evades Samiha for fear of falling in love with her, to honor the memory of his friend Abdel Moneim.

Suleiman threatens Saadia for moving away from Samiha and not reporting Ezzat's news to her. As Saber quarrels with the head watchman, the latter kills him, and Desouki sees him.

Desouki goes mad. As Ezzat succeeds in college, Hamed tries to convince him to propose to Samiha, but he refuses, as he wants Samiha to put her memories with Abdel Moneim behind her first. Saadia is surprised when Suleiman gets close to her after Saber's death.

The head watchman plots with Abbas to rob Suleiman. Saadia complains about the intrusion of the head watchman on her. Imtithal asks Saadia to drive a wedge between Ezzat and Samiha and separate them for her gain. Suleiman refuses the marriage of Samiha and Ezzat.

Ezzat tells Hamed that his grandmother will deprive him of his inheritance if he does not marry Zeinab. As Samiha insists on marrying Ezzat despite her father's refusal, he forbids her from going to college.

As Suleiman's livestock gets stolen, he asks the head watchman to look for the culprit; the latter tells Suleiman that Abu Khashab is Saber’s killer. Saadia is accused of killing Saber and the police arrest her.

As Hamed accompanies Samiha and Ezzat to officiate their marriage, Suleiman threatens to kill her and complicates matters. Ezzat's grandmother stipulates that Zeinab get married first in order for her to agree to Samiha and Ezzat's marriage.

Imtithal's father tells Ezzat's grandmother of Suleiman's intent to kill Ezzat. The head watchman plots with Jaber to kill Ezzat. As the marriage ceremony of Ezzat and Samiha is held, the head watchman shoots Suleiman by mistake.

As Suleiman regains his health, the head watchman kills Desouki. As Samiha opens Abdel Moneim's memory room, she gets over her complex.
