Nabil meets with Sinan, Nasir, and Saber to ask for the hand of their mother, whom he used to love, in marriage. Nada refuses to live in Iraq after learning that her grandfather was murdered. She asks her father to return to America, but he refuses.

Nabil's companies compete with Iraqi companies and cause them to go bankrupt, and Nada admires Sinan and his writings.

Hazem helps Sadad, who suffers from epilepsy. Nabil hires Saber in his company, and the latter resigns from the newspaper he works for, while Nada becomes more attached to Sinan’s writings despite her father’s rejection of these ideas.

Saber's relationship with the secretary strengthens. Amer is expelled from the company following his attempt to attack Nabil, while Sinan slaps his sister, quarrels with his mother, and demands his share in the house.

Amer asks his father to help him return to Hoda, while Miqdad visits him and offers to publish his mother’s problem with Nabil in the media. Saber breaks off his engagement to Ahlam.

Ahlam publishes Miqdad's problem in the newspaper, and both Nabil and Saber become angry and search for a solution to absorb the public's anger. Hoda refuses to marry Amer.

Al-Mustaqbal newspaper, where Saber works, attacks the article published by Ahlam. Meanwhile, Saber marries the secretary, to the amazement of his siblings, and Sinan tells his mother that he wants to sell the house.

Sinan, Nasir, and Saber sell their shares in the house to Nabil. When Nawal finds out, she becomes angry, but Nabil tells her that he bought the house to register it in her name.

Sinan opens a bookstore and tries to reconcile with Nada and invites her to meet him. Nasir leaves his girlfriend after receiving money from Nabil. Nada discovers that her father only wants to settle a score with Nawal, much to her shock.

Nasir works in contracting with Nabil and building the commercial complex and demolishing old houses. Nabil tells Saber that his uncle was the one who killed his father and wants revenge on him.

Hazem is arrested, but Ahlam is able to get him out and prove his innocence, and Sinan wants to marry Nada.

A letter arrives from Ahlam's father, much to her joy. Saber suspects his wife and her relationship with Nabil, while the relationship between Nada and Sinan develops.

As Danny comes from America, he is surprised by Nada's appearance and the change in her character. Sinan asks her not to talk to Danny and consider him an infidel. Saber stays at his mother's house while his wife Feryal searches for him.

As Saber comes to his senses and discovers the truth about Nabil, he tries to alert his brother Nasir, but to no avail. Nada discovers that her father is exploiting Hoda and confronts him.

Nabil is shot and admitted to the hospital. He also threatens Sinan for controlling his daughter.

Hazem is accused of shooting Nabil, but the police prove his innocence by arresting the real criminal. Nabil asks Feryal to hand him over the apartment.

The relationship between Hoda and Nabil is strengthened, and while Nada joins Sinan in the organization against the state and attends extremist lectures, and Saber defends his uncle.

Saber returns to work with Nabil, while Hoda threatens Nabil because he broke his promise to marry her, and Sinan quarrels with his mother because of Hoda.

Hoda runs away and goes to the orphanage, while her mother and siblings search for her everywhere. Nabil travels to America and Nada decides to marry Sinan and confronts him with a fait accompli.

After Sinan is killed, his mother accuses Nabil, and the police interrogate him. Amer finds Hoda and tells her mother the news. Nabil accuses Hazem of trying to kill him, and the latter is arrested.

As Amer meets Hoda and tells her about Sinan's death, he talks to Nabil about his father.

Nada is transferred to a mental hospital by order of her father to forget Sinan. Ahlam and Amer organize a demonstration against Nabil to release Hazem.

Hoda continues to work in the orphanage while Amer meets a girl and wants to propose to her. Saber suffers from a psychological conflict between defending his uncle and working for Nabil.

Hoda returns home and her mother is happy to see her, but Saber shocks them with the news that Nabil wants to take the house, so Hoda refuses to sell her share.

Nabil insists on taking the shares he bought in Nawal's house, while Nasir goes to visit Nada in the hospital, and when Nabil learns, he asks the manager to throw him out.

Nabil goes to visit his daughter in the hospital but does not find her. He also expels Nasir and Saber from the company, and Nawal and Hoda go to live in Hazem’s house.

After Nabil's assistant, Daoud, is killed, Nabil asks Hazem to vacate the property. Saber recalls all the events that have occurred since Nabil appeared in his family's life.
