It chronicles the life of Imam Al-Layth ibn Sa'd, who was known for his knowledge and piety. He established several schools in Egypt to study the science of hadith, jurisprudence, and interpretation of the Quran, and many scholars would come to them, led by Al-Bukhari, Muslim, and Al-Shafi’i. In addition to his abundant knowledge, God favored him with abundant provision, so he gave to the poor.
