The truce between Ra'ouf and Sherina ends and she throws him out. Helpless, he goes to his friend Youssef who gives him a pistol and suggests shooting Sherine in retaliation. Ra'ouf wakes up from such a bad dream, but an unpleasant surprise awaits him at work.

Ra'ouf realizes that he mistakenly gave the minister his wife's list of requests instead of the statistics of the animal production. Just as he is considering quitting to escape the disaster, his mistake grants him a bonus.

As Sherine asks her father to help find Ra'ouf a job, she's shocked to learn that her father is seeing a woman. Ra'ouf celebrates his deliverance. Meanwhile, an officer investigates the supplies Ra'ouf has mistakenly requested.

The undersecretary denies assigning Ra'ouf to write any reports, and Ra'ouf hires a lawyer to get him out of his dilemma. Ibrahim runs for the elections to become a club chairman. Ra'ouf tries to convince Sherine to let her father remarry.

Ra'ouf's son achieves great success in the championship. The employees revolt against the manager's unjust decisions. Ibrahim considers marrying Fifi. The police officer plots to have Ra'ouf arrested but soon discovers that he is guiltless.

Sherine consults a fortuneteller who tells her that Ra'ouf is cheating on her. Ra'ouf has another dream in which he kills Sherine and is sentenced to death. The undersecretary tries to get rid of Ra'ouf and Youssef.

At the birthday party, the couple receives a monkey as a gift. Sherine tries to convince her father that Fifi is no match for him. Ra'ouf resumes his therapy sessions.

During the birthday party, Abdel Aziz gifts Ra'ouf and Sherine a monkey. Sherine tries to persuade her father to stay away from Fifi, and Fifi asks Ibrahim to get his daughter to just let her be. Ra'ouf continues to see his therapist.

Maha returns from abroad and Ra'ouf looks after her, which incites Sherine's jealousy. Her jealousy grows when she returns home and finds that Ra'ouf has brought Maha to stay with them. Meanwhile, Ra'ouf's manager tries to get close to him to ensure that he keeps his position.

Samir prepares for the next championship. Sherine decides to enlist the help of a charlatan to get her father to leave Fifi.

Ra'ouf goes to his psychiatrist and reminisces over his past with Maha. Elham is transferred to the archiving department. Sherine's plot is thwarted as her father marries Fifi, and she tries to ruin their marriage.

As Youssef plans to see a woman, he mistakenly calls Elham. Samir gets injured and his parents learn that he is practicing boxing behind their backs.

Ra'ouf visits Maha at her house and they go together to the zoo and recall their past together. Youssef tries to get close to the new secretary. Sherine asks Ra'ouf to travel with her to Alexandria to see her father, but he refuses to let her travel.

Sherine travels to Alexandria to resume her plot to ruin her father's marriage. As Ibrahim mistakes Sherine for a burglar and points a gun at her, she faints. Ra'ouf suggests that Youssef marries Elham.

Ibrahim writes over a large part of his inheritance to Fifi. Ra'ouf tells Maha that his wife has put him through hell and that's why he's seeing a therapist; he is only sane when he is with Maha. Marzouk retires and Ra'ouf takes his place.

Ra'ouf learns that he has been promoted to be an undersecretary. Ra'ouf transfers Youssef to the New Valley Governorate. Ra'ouf's friends try to dissuade him from marrying Maha. Meanwhile, he mentions divorcing Sherine, who dismisses the idea and forces him to stay with her.
