An upscale Miami executive is sent to a small town in Minnesota in a job assignment, where she comes to question her priorities and goals.
This picture is a romantic comedy directed by Jonas Elmer. The title stars Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. among other names. Lucy Hill (Renee Zellweger) is a senior ranking consultant obsessed with her cosmopolitan lifestyle. Work forces her to move to New Ulm, Minnesota, basically the middle of nowhere, to manage the restructuring of the town’s manufacturing plant. Initially, the locals give her a frosty reception, moreover, she is also not so charmed by the weather and the small-town lifestyle. Eventually however, Lucy grows fond of the town and its locals – likewise, they warm to her too. After being ordered to shut down the facility, Lucy finds an innovative way of saving the plant and the town that depends on it.
