This title is a (fantasy) drama directed by Karey Kirkpatrick. The film stars Eddy Murphy and the veteran actors Martin Sheen and Ronny Cox among other names. Evan Danielson (Eddie Murphy) is a corporate business who is highly successful. Danielson’s high standards have turned him into a workaholic and there was a time not so long ago when he considered himself irreplaceable at his firm. However, a new hard-hitting businessman, Whitefeather (Thomas Haden Church) arrives at the scene and steals the spotlight away from Danielson. Whitefeather’s management style is completely different from that of Danielson and for a while, Danielson is positively stymied. However, relief comes from an unexpected direction. While playing with his daughter Olivia (Yara Shahidi), Danielson comes to a strange realization. Using her blanket, Olivia can somehow call upon her imaginary friends and learn what the future is. These special insights give her father the edge over Whitefeather. The thing is though, in order to obtain knowledge of the future, Danielson must journey into Olivia’s fantasy based imaginary realm. By doing this, Danielson re-discovers something he had lost years ago, that is, the playful spirit of a creative child. Perhaps Danielson will also learn that work is not everything.
