As the suburban girl Megan White pursues her dream of becoming a dancer, she meets the nerdy street boy Thomas Uncles and they become dance partners.

This picture is a comedy that was directed by Damien Dante Wayans. The title is a spoof of dance films. Megan (Shoshana Bush) moves into the inner-city to pursue dancing but finds that life there is harder than what she would have imagined. She gets to know a street dancer named Thomas (Damon Wayans, Jr.) who is passionate about dancing but is stuck doing food and beverage for an obese gang boss. Megan also gets to know Thomas’ sister. As Megan and Thomas become dance partners and spend time together, they begin to fall in love.
