Razwan “Radwan” Khan is an Indian Muslim who suffers from a type of autism called Asperger Syndrome. Following the death of his mother, he moves to the United States in order to stay with his brother Zakker. Whilst there, Razwan gets to know a Hindu lady called Mandera whom he soon falls in love with. We learn that Mandera is divorced and has a son from her previous marriage. Events proceed and the infamous attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon take place on September 11th. In the aftermath, ordinary Muslims undergo persecution. Thus the film relates Razwan’s journey to meet the president of America. Razwan simply wants to tell the president that Muslims are not terrorists. In his journey, Razwan experiences different situations which bring to light the manner in which Americans perceive Muslims.
