A personal aide to the U.S. ambassador in Paris named James Reese teams up with the American spy Charlie Wax to thwart a terrorist attack.

John Travolta stars in this action picture. The film was directed by Pierre Morel. James Reese (Johnathan Rhys Meyers) is living some of his best days ever in Paris. Besides all the perks that come along with being a diplomat, he also has a beautiful French girlfriend. Nonetheless, James is hiding the fact that he is actually a CIA operative. He is soon assigned a partner, a man called Charlie Wax (John Travolta). Despite the fact that James is excited about his new assignment, he can tell that Wax is trouble right from the very start.
