1st Episode

Sameh is angered by the return of his brother Hashem, along with his son Yasser and daughter Hala, to their village after 20 years of exile. It becomes clear that Hashem had accidentally killed Abu Samir (Samir's father), and everyone fears that the feud between the two families will break out again.

Samir vows to avenge his father against Hashem, and his brother Suhail tries to prevent him from doing so. Sameh asks his sister Salma to convince Hashem to leave so that things do not get worse, and everyone talks about the cry they hear at night and do not know whose it is.

Suhail goes after his brother Samir to prevent him from killing Hashem. Abu Nabil seeks to calm the situation. Hakim advises Wajih to open a small office in his house to practice law. Hashem dies.

Khaldoun tells his mother of his love for Sameh's daughter, Mona, and his desire to marry her. Things get worse between Maher and his wife, and he divorces her after she threatens to expose his work with Abu Luay. Sameh asks his son to give his cousins their share in the land.
