Entesar quarrels with her son Abdel Mohsen who intends to attend his youngest aunt Fatema's wedding. She also resents her daughter's strong attachment to Fatema, and her son's admiration for his cousin Dana. The news of aunt Fatema's moving out to an apartment on the same street sadden the nephews.

Fatema advises Dana not to enroll in the Faculty of Pharmacy. Seif's uncle learns of his drinking and advises Mounira to help him with his addiction. Seif refuses to get any treatment, and Entesar reproaches the family for showing him sympathy.

Seif goes to a rehab center to get treatment for his addiction. Abdel Mohsen and Entesar are shocked to meet Amal who claims to be Youssef's wife, and Abdel Mohsen promises to take good care of her children. Entesar visits Seif in rehab.

Soliman and Fatema decide to have a divorce. Sa'ad, Seif's friend, recounts to him how he got over his alcoholism and encourages him to continue with the treatment.

A group kidnaps Mounira and beats her up as her husband Saleh's searches for her. Seif is afraid to leave the walls of the rehab center and go to the outside world.

The family welcomes Seif home. Mounira suspects that her husband is seeing another woman. Soliman tries to get back with Fatema who rejects him.

Believing her to be the reason why her daughter Mariam hasn't married yet, Seham quarrels with Fatema. Abdel Mohsen asks his mother to visit their uncle. The family seizes the chance of Entesar being away to hold a family gathering.

Mounira's suspicions increase as her husband travels to Riyadh. Abdel Mohsen considers running in the parliamentary elections, which Seham opposes. Seif wants to reclaim his position at the company. A flashback reveals how Entesar brought up her two sisters Mounira and Fatema.

Amal tries to talk to Youssef when she sees him with his mother, but he evades her. Seif resumes working at the company. Abdel Mohsen holds a family meeting to inform his family of his intention to run for the parliament.

Despite Entesar's attempts to persuade her, Fatema refuses to get back with Soliman. Talal opens up his gallery, and Amal attends the opening ceremony, much to everyone's shock.

Abdel Mohsen tries to send Amal away and promises to help her. Rashid, Abdel Mohsen's opponent, offers him money to get him to drop out of the race. Saleh and Fatema travel for Umrah. Abdel Mohsen launches his electoral campaign.

Entesar and Abdel Mohsen quarrel over his electoral campaign, and she urges her children not to help him. Fatema still refuses to return to Soliman.

Amal threatens Youssef that she will go to court. Abdel Mohsen and his family are shocked when a smear campaign is launched against him on social media. Seif relapses and starts drinking again. Amina is shocked when Saleh tells her that he intends to take a new wife.

Seham is upset that Abdel Mohsen doesn't come to her after he loses the elections. Mounira consults her psychiatrist friend Nadia. Entesar quarrels with Dana who entertains a wish to become an actress. Amal wants to stay at the house of Youssef's family.

Abdel Mohsen tells Entesar that the only way she can save Seif is by getting close to him and building a good relationship together. Abdel Mohsen quarrels with Abu Mohamed (Mohamed's father) as Fatema reports that he insulted her. Seif returns to the rehab center.

Abdel Mohsen disapproves of Seif's stay at the rehab center, and a friend gets him out and secures a place for him at his father's house. Entesar is shocked to learn that Dana is in a theater troupe.

Youssef threatens to divorce Amal if she ever mentions staying at his family's house. He and Entesar decide to recruit new employees against Abdel Mohsen's wishes. Fatema lands a new job and meets Ayman.

Umm Mona (Mona's mother) takes Amal to Seham's house. Upon learning that she's Youssef's wife, Seham throws Amal out. Fatema complains to Mounira about Entesar's controlling attitude.

Seham insists that Youssef divorce Amal. Sa'ad thinks about marrying Seif's sister. Talal offers to help find Seif a bride. Mariam loses consciousness as a random stranger harasses her.

The family checks up on Mariam after the incident. Seif proposes to his sweetheart. Dr. Nadia tries to set things right between herself and Mounira.

Seif takes his family with him to visit his sweetheart's family. However, Seif's proposal is met with the rejection of his beloved's family because of his addiction.

Sa'ad proposes to Seif's sister, but Seif rejects him on the grounds that Sa'ad himself is an addict. Entesar learns that Youssef has his secret projects. Seham meets Youssef's daughters.

Seif considers staying at his uncle's house. Youssef is mad at his wife for her insistence to see his mother. Entesar reprimands Youssef for collaborating with Samhan behind her back.

Mounira gets mad at Fatema for leaving her alone in her husband's absence. Shorouq tells Nada that she too was sexually harassed. Abdel Mohsen quarrels with his wife who is opposed to Seif's residence in their house.

Entesar insists on having a divorce when she learns of Talal's wish to travel. Saleh learns that his wife has installed surveillance cameras all over the house. Seham decides to separate from her husband.

Mounira tells her husband that she was raped, and he vows revenge on the culprits. Amal suspects that her husband is seeing another woman. Entesar is shocked when the Egyptian employees complain about not having their residency papers and she throws them out.

Talal travels and leaves behind a painting for every family member, and Entessar is enraged about his departure. Mounira discovers that Seif and Abdel Raziq are friends. Seif's uncle passes away.

As Entesar arranges a funeral for Aly, she is surprised when the police arrest the workers because they don't have residency papers. Youssef flees the country and a travel ban is imposed on Entesar.

Seif convinces his mother that she must take shelter in another place, and she indeed takes shelter in the house of her Egyptian maid Fatehiya.

Abdel Mohsen learns that Entesar forged his signature. Youssef asks his wife to leave the country. Entesar is shocked to learn that Ayman, Fatema's colleague, is behind all the misfortune that has befallen the family and that he did it all to take revenge on Entesar.
