The girls each receive an acceptance letter from the University. They go on a plane and on their way to Egypt. A student saves an actress' life at the Nile River.

The students attend a party. Zizinia gets threatened, Dalal confesses her love and Fahad torments another student.

The students attend their first session at the university. Yusuf tries to meet with Dalal but another student sits beside her and gives her his notes. Nozha and her mother have financial problems. Fahd and Yusuf get into an argument. Zizinia comes to the university to meet with Yusuf.

Yusuf sends Dalal a letter asking her to stay away from Sami and asking to marry her. She refuses and asks him to divorce Latifa. Nadia tells Nasser that she's ready to leave her career for him. Nozha tries to help Fahd when coffee is spilled on him, but she suffers because of his mistreatment of her.

Nasser gets into a conflict with the director of Nadia's show. Iqbal comes home from the hospital with her wounded Egyptian neighbor and sends him a chicken as per his doctor's orders. Nozha finds a letter of apology from Fahd.

The students arrange a trip to the Egyptian Pyramids. Latifa teaches the students the basics of Egyptian cooking, and Yusuf asks Dalal not to ruin his life with his wife. Nadia visits Nasser in prison. Dalal cuts herself with a knife and Yusuf takes her to the hospital. Nozha helps Fahd with his wounds.

Nasser's friends confront him about his neglect of them and Fahd. Loloa unknowingly gets involved in a police raid of a group of communists. Sabika's neighbor confuses her for Iqbal. Dalal gets into the hospital for her finger and is warned that the medication is not suitable for pregnant women.

Iqbal is angry when Loloa is late for dinner with the rest of the students. Latifa gets dizzy and Dalal gets her the medicine that is unsuitable for pregnant women. Adnan gets interrogated about his alliance with the communists. Nasser gets angry because of Nadia's career as a dancer.

Nasser appears during Zizinia's birthday celebration to announce their marriage. Loloa and Adnan's false testimonies cause twelve individuals to go to prison. Adnan asks Loloa to marry him. Nasser returns after getting beat up, and Sabika apologizes to Loloa and Dalal.

When it rains, the students get out to the balconies in their excitement. Latifa avoids contact and stays in her room. Nasser's religious father threatens everyone with a stick so that they pray. Latifa goes to the hospital and the medication she took is discovered. Iqbal confronts Sabika.

Latifa asks Yusuf if he is still in love with Dalal. The students prepare for their exams, and their professor informs them that some of their activist colleagues have been arrested. Adnan rushes out of the lecture. Sabika gets a letter from Talal.

Fahd tells Nasser that Nadia is pregnant. Sami wants to marry Dalal. Adnan joins the communist party. Yusuf tears up Latifa's dress to stop her from going out. Everyone gets ready for a night out. Fahd tells Nozha that he wants her to be his fiancée. Dalal talks to Nozha about Yusuf.

Latifa congratulates Sami and Dalal. Loloa asks Adnan to leave the Communist Party. The students go to the cinema. Latifa confronts Yusuf about his feelings towards her. Sabika and Iqbal get involved in an unfortunate accident.

Sabika and Iqbal go to the ICU. Adnan and Loloa get married. Nasser goes to Nadia but suffers a head injury. The girls are devastated when they learn about a colleague's death. The police arrest Adnan and Loloa. Zizania takes time off work to take care of Nasser.

Latifa decides to apply to college. Adnan gives a speech. Fahd asks Nozha to change her behavior since she's now his wife. Nozha is devastated when she learns the truth about Sabika and Iqbal's accident. Nadia comes to see Nasser at the university. A sudden state of emergency causes panic.

Havoc breaks out in Port Said. Yusuf decides to divorce Latifa. Fahd wants to volunteer in Port Said but is rejected. Hayam announces that classes are suspended. Sami confronts Dalal about her feelings towards Yusuf. Adnan attempts to send a letter to his family to tell them about his marriage.

Reports of the bleak situation in Port Said are announced, where many have died and been injured. Adnan gets medical attention for his wound, and Fahd is devastated alone. A raid causes the girls to go to a hideout, while Nadia is pregnant in her fifth month. Nasser tries to reach her but fails.

Dalal and Loloa make their way to Port Said, and Loloa confesses that Adnan is her husband, before she leaves. Adnan is hospitalized and seems to have lost his memory. Nasser calls Nadia and she tells him that she loves him. Fahd starts to lead demonstrations. Nadia collapses.

Sami confronts Yusuf about keeping a picture of Dalal, and a plane drops a bomb on them. Nozha tells Yusuf that Latifa had a baby. Adnan regains consciousness but not his memory. Dalal avoids Yusuf because of the situation with Latifa.

Enemy forces retreat, and everyone go back to Cairo. Fahd returns back to leading protests, with Nozha by his side. Nasser returns and is devastated over Nadia's death. Latifa wants to go back to Kuwait. Nasser purchases rat poison. Sami emotionally admits to Yusuf his feelings for Dalal.

Latifa tells Dalal to take care of Yusuf before she returns to Kuwait. Nasser tells his colleagues that Nadia liked them because of him. Dalal is worried when she sees that Sami has injured Yusuf when he confessed his feelings about her. Iqbal's neighbor arranges for his mother to meet Iqbal.

After Dalal and Yusuf's marriage, he starts to feel sick. Sami decides to go away and Yusuf attempts to stop him. Loloa is unable to find her marriage document and suspects that she's pregnant. Sami asks Latifa to marry him. Fahd provokes Nasser when he talks about his wife, Nadia.

Loloa feels ill, and Latifa's son cries during class. Yusuf is angry at Latifa and wants her to return to Kuwait. Latifa is hysterical when she loses her son, and Yusuf threatens her to get back with him to Kuwait. Fahd and Nasser try to persuade him to change his mind.

The doctor informs Loloa that she is pregnant and Adnan reacts violently. Latifa begs Yusuf for her son, promising to go back to Kuwait. Sami refuses the idea of Latifa going back to Kuwait. Nasser imagines seeing Nadia at the university.

Dalal takes the child to a grateful Latifa. Dalal tells Loloa that she should face Adnan with her pregnancy. The girls fall asleep while studying and wake up panicking to reach their exam on time. Yusuf decides to break up with Dalal and attempts to get back together with Latifa.

Nadia assures Nasser that she's not dead. Dalal goes to Halim at the theater and puts his hand over his mouth. Fahd's professor admires his poetry. Talal is confused because of Iqbal's behavior. Halim talks to Dalal about her problems. Yusuf informs the group that he and Latifa are back together.

Dalal tells Loloa, Nozha and Iqbal about her meeting with Abdelhalim Hafez and how she got tickets for his performance. Nadia refuses to allow Nasser to leave school for her. Yusuf is impressed with Latifa's academic performance. Iqbal takes Nozha to Fahd's mentor's house to ask her to stay away from him.

Loloa decides to commit suicide. Adnan finds a letter that proves his marriage to Loloa. Yusuf health deteriorates. Laila is worried that word about her relationship with Fahd goes around. Nasser asks Nadia to live with him in the storage room. Everyone finds out the truth about Yusuf's illness.

Adnan finally admits his marriage to Loloa. Sami tells Dalal the real reason Yusuf left her. Nasser discovers that he has a child. Iqbal admits to her neighbor that Sabika was the one who died. Laila publishes Fahd's poem. The students attend Halim's performance.
