Angar Chand lives with his wife and four sons. He arranges for his son, Balram to get married to the daughter of Laxmi Devi. But the wedding ends up tragically and Angart is imprisoned. After his release, he prevents his sons from ever getting married, until one of them meets Laxmi's grand-daughter.
