In 1964, racism continues to cast a shadow over America. Three civil rights defenders disappear in Mississippi. Two FBI agents go to the town to look into this mysterious case. Robert Anderson, worked in the region before joining the FBI, is well aware of the nature of the place, so he does not mind bending rules to achieve his goal. Events escalate and attacks on black citizens begin.
