Minister Amin Azzam suffers a severe health crisis and is taken to Al-Arini Hospital. When Dr. Suleiman disappears, Shahinaz finds herself in an embarrassing situation.
Suleiman decides to perform open-heart surgery for the minister, which angers Nabil, the assistant of the Minister of Health, who wanted the German Professor Peter William to take over the case. The journalist Abeer succeeds in sneaking into Al-Arini Hospital, and the minister’s operation succeeds.
A dispute occurs between Suleiman and Shahinaz because of his spontaneous behavior and his refusal to meet the assistant of the Minister of Health. Suleiman saves Abeer from imprisonment, despite his extreme hatred of the press.
The prosecution's investigation begins to reveal the culprit. Khairy the lawyer tries to have Shahd released on bail because of the invalidity of her arrest procedures.
Shahd is released temporarily from the prosecution building. Tarek expresses to Suleiman his doubts about Saad and Howaida because of his previous knowledge of Suleiman.
Amin Azzam's health condition improves. When a violent fight occurs between Suleiman and Shahinaz, she accuses him of failing as a father.
Suleiman uses his friends' help to develop a plan to search for evidence. The prosecutor orders that Shahd be arrested. Meanwhile, Saad confesses to Okasha that he works with Sheikh Hassan in the search for antiquities.
Shahinaz asks her brother Sherif to bring someone to confess to the crime. Nader helps Samara travel abroad. Later on, Suleiman assaults the deputy director of the community hospital.
When Suleiman's plan succeeds, and Saad confesses to killing Fouad Awni, Shahd's innocence in the murder is declared, and a decision is issued to lift the ban on publishing in Fouad Awni's case.
Saad confesses to the details of the crime. When Omneya is arrested, Shahd collapses after discovering the truth about her. Arabi informs the prosecution of his agreement with Sherif to confess to the murder of Fouad Awni.
When Suleiman discovers Abeer’s serious illness, he searches for her to try to save her. Meanwhile, the news of Arabi's report about Sherif is published in the El Mostaqbal newspaper, and Shahinaz visits Galal El Senussi.

The gang discovers Suleiman's true identity. Later on, Suleiman books a room for Abeer in the El Wafaa Hospital, takes care of the expenses, and asks her not to reveal his identity.
Suleiman discovers the sudden disappearance of the gang members. Elsewhere, Malak leaves the hospital and suspects that Abeer has contracted a disease at Al-Arini Hospital.
Suleiman returns to his home. Abeer's health deteriorates after Malak tells her about her doubts about Suleiman, who tells Malak of his great admiration for her.

A current minister and an important figure in the government are involved in a huge land sale in New Cairo to an Israeli investor. Hazem Fouda, a National Security officer, joins Mohsen El Sawaf in an attempt to assassinate Malak.
Mohsen El Sawaf and Amin Azzam collude with Hassan Kadri in the land sale deal. Malak and Akram are detained by National Security on charges of espionage for foreign parties. Masr El Hurra channel is shut down and the files of the suspicious deal are confiscated. Kalyanti meets Suleiman.
Kalyanti confesses to Suleiman that Malak is innocent of the charges against her. Hazem continues his attempt to get rid of Malak.
Shahinaz discovers the details of Malak's assassination attempt, the affair between Malak and Suleiman, and the party's nomination for her. Mysterious meetings take place at Al-Arini Hospital under the cover of the pharmaceutical company.
Shahd and Khaled are arrested for their participation in a political artwork. When Shahinaz and Ismail intervene, Shahd and Khaled are released. As Khaled tells his father that he wants to marry Shahd, the relationship between Tarek and Fatma is strengthened.
When Gawaher is deceived and subjected to an abortion and a hysterectomy at El Rahma Hospital, Suleiman discovers Shahinaz's responsibility for the matter. Adel Zahran becomes increasingly afraid of the youths' revolt against the regime.
Suleiman enlists Siham and Ola's help to reveal what is happening in El Rahma Hospital. While the National Security tracks the movements of Suleiman and Malak, riots and violations increase in the polling places of the parliamentary elections.
As Shahinaz wins in the parliamentary elections, the Muslim Brotherhood and the opposition withdraw from the elections. Suleiman fails to convince the victims of El Rahma Hospital to submit an official report about what happened to them. Malak travels to Tunisia to cover Mohamed Bouazizi's incident.
When Gawaher, Awatef, and Suleiman are arrested, Mohsen El Sawaf bribes France and persuades Gawaher and Awatef to testify against Suleiman.
Malak returns from Tunisia, and Gawaher is excluded from testifying against Suleiman because of her mental illness. Kalyanti is arrested and tortured by National Security.
The January 25 revolution erupts, and when Suleiman threatens Shahinaz, she runs away before he shoots Mohsen, who is wounded in the leg.
