Hesham gets close to Dalia. Shawky calls on the citizens to organize a monthly cleaning week. Hala gets into an accident and is hospitalized.
The employees get angry at Shawky's firm policy. Shawky goes to Hesham's clinic to meet him after learning of his relationship with his daughter, Dalia.

Bahgat falls into depression after Hala leaves him. After Shawky refuses to take a bribe from Desouky, the latter resorts to defrauding his wife.
Nour asks Dalia to become a partner with her in a clothes store, but she refuses. Adham proposes to Hala, and Shawky agrees.
Shawky celebrates the engagement of Hala and Adham. Desouky Al-Nabrawy implicates Nariman in buying a villa in exchange for mortgaging her nursery. Dalia gives birth to a child.
When Wa'el asks Sawsan to marry him, she tells him to remain just friends. Sawsan goes to meet Rao'uf in prison and promises to wait for him.
When Farida confesses her feelings to Wa'el, he evades her. After Rao'uf gets out of prison, he asks Sawsan to stay away from him but she refuses to leave him. Nour tries to get closer to Hesham.
Sawsan asks Rao'uf to marry her. It's revealed that Adham is engaged in shady smuggling deals. After the file of licenses is stolen from Shawky's office, he is suspended from work.

Dalia tries to get rid of Nour in hers and Hesham's life on her own way. Hala discovers that Adham is a fraudster and is married to Dana.
Adham refuses Shawky's request to divorce Hala. Dalia refuses to leave her job and confronts Hesham with his marriage to Nour.
Adham pressures Hala to return to him, but she refuses. Sawsan asks for time to think about her marriage to Wa'el. Nour asks Hesham for a divorce, and he agrees.
After Farid takes over the position of editor-in-chief of the magazine, he begins settling his old score with Wa'el. Mansour implicates Shawky in a bribery case.
Farid forces Sawsan to conduct a press report into Shawky's case to drive a wedge between her and Wa'el. Adham sends an ultimatum at the obedience house to Hala to force her to return to him. When Bahgat stands up to Adham, he expels him from his office.
Farid fires Wa'el and Sawsan from the newspaper following Shawky's scandal. After Bahgat threatens Adham to report him to the Interpol, he divorces Hala. As the police succeed in uncovering the truth, Shawky is released from prison.
