Shaukat is an established writer who is nominated for the Booker prize. He lives a luxurious life with his wife, but gets into a depression when he experiences writer's block. Then he gets inspired to write a novel about Tamanna, basically his wife's life story, and during his research discovers things about her that raise suspicions in his head.
