A New York detective takes over night duty to secure a store that has been shut down due to a large fire. He is exposed to strange happenings during the night. His wife is affected as well, and it becomes his duty to protect her and their son.
After his fiancée dies in a car accident, Max Matheson struggles with feeling guilty for her death. He takes the job of a security guard at a store and starts seeing visions of a dead woman.
