The movie tells the story of poor Romans who sufferd from injustice and hunger until their saver appeared. It's the great solider "Coriolanus" (actor Ralph Fiennes) who supported Rome citizens to have their rights back. He is supported by his controlling and ambitious mother Volumnia (actress Vanessa Redgrave) leading him to be exalted out of Rome. He meets his sworn enemy Tullus Aufidius (actor Gerard Butler) and conflicts starts….
