As Nathalie goes on vacation with her husband George, a senior judge, the latter is taken by Lance, Nathalie's friend, on a fishing trip, whereupon Kent, her ex-boyfriend, pays her an unexpected visit, and things get out of control when Nathalie wakes up the next day and finds Kent dead in her bed.
