Fatima suffers from her husband's addiction to alcohol, his neglect of their children, and his constant beating of her.
Fatima hides her jewelry in a sack of wheat so that it is not seized by her husband, who dies, leaving her alone responsible for caring for and raising their children, so she is forced to marry Mubarak.
Mubarak treats Fatima and her children badly. He invites his friends to the house to spend the night and drink alcohol, and Fahd beats him and kills him.
Fahd goes to prison, and Fatima dies from grief. Ghanima holds her brother Fahd responsible for what happened to their mother, and asks him not to see her again.
Years pass, and Ghanima gets married early so that she can take care of her siblings after the death of her mother, and her children grow up.
Noura tries to discover the identity of the girl that Yaqoub talks to, and at the same time, Aryam resents the way Ghanima interferes in her life.
Nasser tells his siblings that their brother Fahd wants to meet them, but Ghanima refuses, while her husband Daoud hides his relationship with Salwa from her.
As Fahd meets Ghanima, she rejects his presence in her life and quarrels with her siblings for contacting him.
Fahd gets close to his family members, and Suleiman asks his father to work with him in the company, but Ghanima refuses. Awatef discovers the relationship between her son Yaqoub and some girl.
Fahd asks his siblings to join hands with him against Ghanima's desire to make him stay away from them, and Ghanima suspects that her husband, Daoud, is cheating on her.
Wadha's family threatens Awatef with exposing her son due to his relationship with their daughter and blackmails him into marrying her. Ghanima discovers Daoud's relationship with Salwa and expels him from the house. Fahd tries to solve Yaqoub and Wadha's problem.
Ghanima discovers that Salwa and Daoud are siblings, and that he hid this from her due to the social difference between Salwa and Ghanima, while Nasser and his wife Aryam resort to treatment so that they can have children after Ghanima mocks them.
Ghanima is thinking about marrying off her son Khaled to his cousin Israa. Hamad tells Fathia of his desire to propose marriage to Naglaa.
Yaqoub insists on his marriage to Wadha, and Abdullah tells Noura that he wants to marry her after his separation from his wife. Sarah discovers that Ahmed did not complete his studies abroad and lost his money in gambling, and Khaled meets his real father.
Nasser tells his wife Aryam that he is sterile. Ghanima is upset when she finds out about Fahd's decision to buy a house and stay in Kuwait, while Yaqoub quarrels with Wadha because her family demands a large sum of money as her dowry.
Nasser snaps at Yaqoub for selling his car in order to pay Wadha's dowry, and Khaled resents his father's many financial requests.
Khaled's father accuses his son of stealing from him and blackmails Fahd into dropping the report, while Yaqoub marries Wadha and presents the matter to his family as a fait accompli.
As Ghanima rages at Yaqoub's marriage, she holds Fahd responsible for what happened. At the same time, Barak discovers his brother Ahmed's debts due to gambling.
Fahd advises Daoud to hire his son Suleiman in his company, and Ghanima asks Yaqoub to stay in her house with his wife so that she can help him solve his problem with her.
Suleiman tells his mother that he wants to travel to complete his studies abroad, but she insists on his marriage to Israa, while Daoud asks Fahd to cooperate and work with him.

Mona tries to convince Sarah to sell the house, while Fahd opens his new company. Daoud tries to convince his daughter not to agree to marry Hamad, and Noura tells Fahd that she agrees to marry Abdullah.
Hamad and Naglaa's engagement party takes place. Barak discovers that his brother left their mother and traveled abroad after selling the house. Suleiman leaves the house after insisting on refusing to marry Israa.
Fahd is surprised by Mubarak's son's visit, and he threatens him with revealing that he killed his father if he does not withdraw from the market. Nasser is upset by Aryam's reaction to his travel for treatment and her lack of interest in the matter.
Ghanima quarrels with Awatef and her daughter over the latter's refusal to marry her son Suleiman. Aryam is thinking about filing for divorce from Nasser because he can't have children. Naglaa and Hamad get married.
As Nasser confronts Aryam about her relationship with her cousin Marwan, he reveals to her that she is barren and that he hid this from her in order not to hurt her feelings, which made him claim that he was sterile, after which he divorces her.
Sarah tries to patch things up between Nasser and Aryam. Fahd tells Noura that Abdullah deceived her and that he wanted to marry her to achieve his goals with Mubarak's son.
Nasser agrees to travel with Aryam for treatment and forgives her. Yaqoub's relationship with his wife Wadha improves, and Naglaa resents her mother's interference in her marital life.
All of Ghanima's children and siblings drift away from her, leaving her alone, and Fahd marries Awatef.
