Bakr Pasha gets sad when he learns of Afifa's relationship with Haddad, and she quarrels with Haddad because he lied to the Pasha, who and a group of free officers decide to revolt against the king.
Bakr Pasha and his forces march to Baghdad to impose his control over it amid the fear of Naseem and Selim Effendi, who have been arrested to be held accountable, while Afifa confesses to Bakr her love for him.
