Jesse James returns from the civil war to his small town, and discovers that the corrupt Rains is threatening and forcing people to leave their homes and farms to make way for a new railroad track. Jesse makes up a team of outlaws to stand up to Rains and his men, the Robin-hood way, and the conflict between the two sides escalates.
