After having four daughters, Abdel Wahab looks forward to having a boy. As the children grow up, he shows favoritism towards his other children over his daughter Janat, whom he had with his first wife. Hetaf remembers her husband's accident that left him in a coma.
Haitham meets his sister Janat, but she is unaware that he is her brother. When he confides in Hala, she warns him against telling their mother about the meeting. Hetaf struggles to deal with her mother-in-law's mistreatment of her.
Umm Hala (Hala's mother) asks her daughter to put a rush on her marriage to Emad. Hetaf complains to her mother about her mother-in-law's mistreatment. Sohaib informs his uncle that he wants to marry one of his daughters.
Sohaib tells his uncle that he wants to marry Janat. The landlord offers Vida his help to find a job for her daughter.
Abdel Wahab tells Janat about Sohaib's proposal. Umm Haitham (Haitham's mother) is upset that Haitham is trying to get close to his half-sister. When Tarek tells Heba that he wants to expedite the wedding, she refuses. Hala is upset that Emad is hesitant to hold the wedding.
Hetaf files a complaint against her colleague who has been harassing her. Hala tries to convince Emad to have their wedding.
Janat's mother is upset that her daughter is preparing to meet Sohaib. Heba is surprised when Tarek visits her at work. Tarek's mother asks Heba's mother to set a date for their wedding.
Janat and her mother mistakenly believe that Haitham is Sohaib who wants to marry Janat. Despite his lack of a proper degree and his dependence on his money, Janat is forced to agree to marry Sohaib.
As Heba reluctantly starts to prepare to marry Tarek, her colleague Abdel Latif quarrels with her for pretending to be responsible for all the deals in the company.
Haitham is upset when he notices how his father isn't doing the same for Janat and Heba in the matter of their marriage. Haitham quarrels with his classmate when she crosses the line while talking to him.
Haitham warns Janat about Sohaib's arrogance, which worries her mother. However, Janat asserts that she can get Sohaib to change. Heba and her mother continue preparing for the former's wedding.
As Janat marries Sohaib, the first days of marriage reveal just how arrogant he is. Umm Suhail (Suhail's mother) tries to convince her son to take another wife since his wife can not have children.
As Janat visits her mother, the latter grows concerned about the change in her attitude. Heba informs Hetaf that she is thinking about working behind Tarek's back after marriage.
Sohaib makes fun of Janat's clothes and life. Hala is shocked when she discovers that her fiancé Emad has been denying their relationship in front of people. Tarek divorces Heba when he discovers that she was lying about her job.
Heba's family is shocked by the news about her divorce. As her mother tries to mend bridges between them, she is surprised when she learns that Tarek has traveled away, leaving her to cancel the party.
As Janat returns from her travels, Sohaib continues to ridicule her. Janat discovers that he has been cheating but tries to hide it from her mother. Hala is shocked by Emad's statement that he is not in a relationship.
After he denies their engagement, Hala forces Emad to make a decision about their wedding. Sohaib beats Janat severely after she looks through his personal stuff and discovers his affair. Umm Khaled (Khaled's mother) asks for Hend's hand for Mas'oud.
Umm Nabil (Nabil's mother) changes her treatment of Hetaf. Hend's family opposes her marriage to Mas'oud since he has another wife. Janat's father tries to convince Sohaib to take his wife home.
Hala hears Emad asserting that he is not in a relationship on a radio show, which leads her to break off their engagement. Janat agrees to return to Sohaib but only if she gets a job.
Hetaf's husband Nabil passes away. Hend marries Mas'oud, only to discover that he refuses to inform his first wife about their marriage.
Saleh rejoices when Hetaf returns to work after her husband's death. Hetaf thinks about staying in her father's house. Sa'eid proposes to Umm Janat (Janat's mother), but she asks him to postpone their nuptials until she tells her daughter. Sohaib divorces Janat.
Umm Nabil suggests for Suhail to marry Hetaf, but the latter refuses. Janat is shocked when Sohaib sends her clothes to her mother's house in garbage bags.
Despite threats from her mother-in-law, Hetaf leaves the house with her son. Hend complains to Mas'oud's sister about his neglect of her. Sa'eid is upset that Umm Janat has postponed their marriage again after her daughter's divorce.
Much to Janat's shock, Umm Janat marries Sa'eid. Umm Khaled advises Hend to inform Mas'oud's first wife of her marriage to Mas'oud. Heba's manager takes advantage of the familial connection between Heba and Sohaib to work with the latter. Saleh proposes to Hetaf.
Sohaib falls for Heba and agrees to work with her company. Rashed confesses his feelings for Janat. When Hend informs Mas'oud's wife that he took another wife, she takes a number of women and beat Hend in her house. Hend is rushed to the hospital.
Mas'oud asks Hend not to press charges against his first wife. Abu Sarah (Sarah's father) tries to force his daughter to wed, but she refuses. Sohaib asks his uncle for Heba's hand.
When Abdel Wahab tells Heba that Sohaib wants to marry her, she agrees on the condition that Sohaib gives him the promissory note. Heba's siblings are shocked by her decision. Haitham asks Janat to advise Heba not to marry Sohaib.
Janat warns Heba about Sohaib. Heba is shocked when her former fiancé tries to get her back. Rashed tells Janat that his mother opposes his marriage to a divorcée.
As Haitham proposes to Sarah, her father opposes their marriage. Hend is shocked when Mas'oud divorces her. Heba and Sohaib wed. Janat quits her job, leaves her house, and vanishes.
As Heba quarrels with Sohaib, she beats him and he gets rushed to the hospital. Heba tells Sohaib that she is pregnant after he is released. Saleh gets married. Sarah and Haitham wed. Rashed asks to marry Janat. Emad apologizes to Hala and acknowledges their engagement.
