Abu Ibrahim (Ibrahim's father) lives a simple and quiet life with his children and wife. He begins to prepare to celebrate his daughter's birthday and buys her a gift. But a huge fire breaks out in the house killing everyone inside.
A year has passed since Abu Ibrahim lost everyone he loves in the fire. Jassem is upset about his brother's bad treatment of their father.
Abu Salem's two wives keep quarreling with each other, and so do their daughters, while Abu Salem (Salem's father) is not aware of anything due to his constant drunkenness.
Dr. Fawaz is upset that his wife doesn't care about his daughter, and he refuses her new job. Khalaf offers Abu Ibrahim a job with him. Umm Hamny (Hamny's mother) is worried about her son in an unusual way.
Umm Razan (Razan's mother) complains to her daughter about the treatment of her husband's other wife, Umm Rukia (Rukia's mother), and her beating. Jassem's wife resents the presence of Khalaf in the house all the time and his inappropriate treatment of his father.
Umm Hamny quarrels with her son for buying a car without her knowledge. Abu Jassem (Jassem's father) asks his son to go to another doctor to be able to have children with his wife.
Razan gets to know Dr. Fawaz, who admires how she looks after herself. Salem tells Hamny that the car he bought from Khalaf is not worth the amount paid for it.
Abu Ibrahim begins to see visions of his wife and children everywhere in the house. When Lulu starts her new job, her husband, Dr. Fawaz, asks Abu Ibrahim to drop his daughter at school.
Abu Ibrahim suggests to Jassem to turn to Dr. Fawaz to inquire about an infertility doctor. A fire breaks out in Abu Khalaf’s house and Samy is able to put it out, but Abu Khalaf dies.
Hamny resents his mother for preventing him from helping to put the fire out and save Abu Khalaf. The police arrest Abu Salem in a state of drunkenness, and Salem needs money to pay bail for his father.
Umm Razan gives Salem her jewelry to sell it and pay her husband's bail, while Umm Salem (Salem's mother) refuses to help out. Khalaf informs his brother Jassem of his desire to sell their father's house.
Umm Hamny is worried when Hamny tells her that he got hired for a new job. Razan meets Dr. Fawaz and offers to help him with the advertising campaign for his clinic.
Jassem and Khalaf are worried when Abu Ibrahim disappears for a while. Samy quarrels with his brother Salem. When Samy's mother asks her son to file a complaint against Salem, Samy refuses.
Jassem buys his father's house and gives his brother his share. Fawaz agrees with Razan to become the advertising face of his clinic. Lulu tells her co-worker Muhammad that she no longer loves her husband Fawaz like she used to.
Wadha tells her mother that she will help Abu Ibrahim as if he was her father. Asmaa blames her husband for leaving her with his brother Khalaf for a long time at home.
Rukia and Wadha mock their sister Razan and her advertising job, and they tell their mother about it. Hamny is upset with his mother, who claims that Rukia is coming onto him, and she asks Umm Salem to keep her away from him.
Abu Ibrahim blames Dr. Fawaz for letting his young daughter go out at night, while he asks Hamny to wait until he asks for Rukia's hand in marriage and until his mother agrees.
Salem tries to prevent his sister Razan from going out to finish her ad campaign. Muhammad gets closer to Lulu and neglects his wife Hanan. Wadha is upset that Abu Ibrahim is treating her differently.
Khalaf tells his brother Jassem that he needs to change his appearance to impress his wife. Asmaa agrees to let Khalaf continue to live in the house with them.
Khalaf suspects that Asmaa’s treatment of him has changed, as she begins to please him. Salem breeds dogs to sell them.
After Umm Hamny reluctantly agrees to Rukia's engagement to her son Hamny, she quickly changes her mind. Asmaa begins to treat her husband differently.
Khalaf blackmails Khaled into buying his car so as not to inform Salem about Khaled's relationship with his sister. Asmaa confesses to Khalaf that she had to marry his brother Jassem after he traveled.
Khalaf decides to leave the house after overhears his brother's conversation with his wife Asmaa. He also discovers that she is taking contraceptives so that she won't have children.
Khalaf reprimands Asmaa for staying in his brother's house after discovering everything between them. Salem's fierce dog attacks Umm Hamny, and she reports him to the police.
Jassem asks his brother Khalaf to leave the house. Razan files a complaint at the police station against her brother Salem for beating her for her ad campaign for Fawaz's clinic.
Rukia and Hamny get married. Fawaz's daughter gets kidnapped and he blames his wife for not knowing anything about her. Asmaa tries to mend her relationship with her husband Jassem, but he refuses.
Khaled asks Salem for his sister Razan's hand in marriage. Rukia resents the way her mother-in-law treats her. Abu Ibrahim is surprised that Khalaf is blackmailing him by demanding money that he borrowed from him without his knowledge.
It's revealed that Abu Ibrahim is the one who kidnapped Dr. Fawaz's daughter and locked her in his house. He also instigates Wadha to talk with Khaled, and he rebukes her for confessing that she loves him. Hamny drowns at sea.
Umm Hamny collapses after the death of her son. Khalaf demands a debt that her son owed him. Razan’s eyes are distorted after Fawaz injects her with cosmetic materials. Fawaz accuses Lulu of having an affair with Muhammad, who returns to his wife.
Salem is taken to the hospital after being bitten by a dog. When Khaled visits Razan at the hospital, he discovers that her looks are fake. Wadha discovers the whereabouts of Dr. Fawaz's daughter, and Abu Ibrahim is arrested. Rukia gives birth to Hamny's son.
