Salma is devastated when her police officer husband dies on the job, but after his death, she stumbles upon secret after secret. Meanwhile, a sister is plotting the murder of her brother.

Salma is horrified and scared, as she discovers that her husband was involved in a terrorist organization. Then, with the help of Selim, she starts looking for answers, only to be more horrified.

Salma is trying to understand Magda's statement, and armed intruders get into her house and threaten her children, asking for documents that she knows nothing about. Noha attempts to murder Selim.

Salma gets arrested and interrogated regarding the murder of Police Officer Jamal. Bassem Mohsen appears and tries to help Salma escape prison.

Upon getting out of prison, Salma gets kidnapped and Shukri claims to know where her children are. Yasser offers Salma his help. Adham is shocked that Hazim's body has never been brought to the morgue.

Yunis warns Salma about Shukri. It is still unknown who shot at Selim. Yasser falls in love with Dina, Salma's sister, and finds her at the scene of his planned suicidal attack.

Adham attempts to open the hard drive. Salma tells Selim that Shukri was the one who kidnapped her. Adham and Salma find out there's more than one hard drive. Selim is involved in a shooting.

Youssef proposes a deal to Salma in order to get to Yunis and warns her from Shukri. It is still unknown who shot at Selim.

The suicide attack leaves behind a number of injured people. Salma receives something that starts her and Adham on another trail to pursue their search for the hard drives.

Salma goes to Al-Sokhna with Adham to look for answers. She recalls a woman Hazem has helped and finds something he left for her with this woman. Nahed tells Ezzat that she's pregnant, and says that she is behind the threats that Nada has been receiving.

Salma tries to decipher the code in the picture, and remembers that Hazem gave her a similar toy before. She decides to look for it and is informed by Dina that it is in her father's villa. When Salma goes to the villa, visitors are waiting for her.

Salma is kidnapped by Bassem because he wants information from her. She finds something inside the toy. Noha discovers the reason behind her addiction. Selim is shocked when Noha tells him that Salma wants him dead.

Salma opens the flash memory and Adham helps her decipher the code. Selim is suspicious that Noha was the reason for his being in danger. Yazid wants Saeed to murder Yasser because he knows too much about their secret operations.

Salma finds out that Yunis is home alone in the villa and decides to go to him despite knowing that it's under surveillance. Adham informs Salma that Jamal's killer has been arrested. A terrorist attack leads Adham and Salma to find out that it has been mentioned in Hazem's book. Selim finds out the identity of the person who wants him dead.

Another terrorist attack causes Salma to panic and search through the books for clues before another attack. Adham continues his investigations. Aba Yazid blames Abdulrahman for helping Yasser run away.

Yasser surprises Dina when he goes to visit her in the orphanage. A murder attempt targeting Aba Yazid results in bloodshed. Selim confronts Nahid about her marriage to Ezzat and threatens her. Dina discovers that they are being spied on.

Dina calls Salma and Adham to resolve the issue with her maid, and Selim joins them. They find out who the maid is giving information to. Salma finds news clippings in Hazem's drawer and decides to look for the journalist named Allam Al-Walid.

Adham and Salma go to Allam, and find out that he is being arrested for accusations made by his wife, who wants a divorce. Allam agrees to help Salma and Adham once he resolves his problems. Dina tells Yasser about her illness and asks him not to tell anyone. Yasser is devastated.

Selim and Salma go to get Allam out of prison, and he informs them that Hazem's novel points to a printer's owned by Hazem's father. They go there and find another hard disk. Salma finds out the planned location for the third terrorist attack. Dina and Yasser develop feelings for each other.

Adham suspects that a girl in school is part of the plan for the terrorist attack, and he and Salma involve the police to deactivate the bomb, and the terrorist organization finds out about the change in their plan. Noha goes to Nahid's apartment accompanied by Ezzat.

Noha confronts Nahid and Ezzat and tells them that she knows about their marriage. Salma continues reading Hazem's novel and finds out how he got involved with the organization. Together with Selim and Adham, she decides to get in touch with Bassem with the help of the maid.

Yasser decides to donate his liver to Dina without her knowledge. Dina tells Salma about her illness. Salma, Selim and Adham use Huda to get Bassem arrested, which results in a gruesome murder and a threat to Salma's life.

Dina prepares to go to surgery, and Salma sneaks in the hospital to see the donor, and finds out that he is Yasser. He tells Salma that he wants to save a life in return for the lives he has destroyed. Saeed kidnaps him from the hospital after the operation to kill him.

Adham and Salma tell the police about Adham's kidnapping. Salma receives an anonymous phone call requesting the hard drives. Abu Yazid talks to Yasser and Saeed helps him escape. Abdulrahman finds Abu Yazid murdered.

Abdulrahman attempts to reach Yasser to get his revenge, after believing Saeed's words that he has killed his parents. Salma reads Hazem's novel in order to find the hard drives. Doctor Refaat is arrested, after Adham finds the recordings where he admits to the murders of his wife and son.

Yasser asks to see Dina when she gets out of the hospital. He calls Salma and discovers that she has been kidnapped. Abdulrahman threatens Yasser that he will kill Dina, who tells him that he did not kill his parents. Abdulrahman decides to kill Dina anyway, and succeeds in escaping from the police.

Salma decides to travel abroad after Dina's murder, and it is discovered that Colonel Jamal is not dead. He and Salma tell Adham everything about their plan, and Salma decides not to travel, but to focus on deciphering the next code in the novel instead.

Salma is able to unlock the mystery of the last hard drive, and gets it with Adham and Selim's help. Then they get attacked while delivering the hard drives to Colonel Jamal. Salma makes a shocking discovery about Selim.

Basem tells Selim that someone has been sent to kill Salma, and he goes to save her life. A tragic murder results, and Salma understands the next action plan with Yasser's help. The police interfere to stop the attack, and Salma receives a mysterious phone call from someone claiming to be Hazem.

The Ministry of Interior succeeds in stopping the bombing of Al-Wafd. Bassem tells Salma that Selim murdered Hazem, and wants to kill her. Adham saves Salma and she asks Colonel Jamal to tell her Hazem's story. Noha decides to kill Salma and attempts suicide.
