On a faraway island, Jocelyn works as a domestic helper for an elderly, wheelchair-bound man in a vegetative state. She has no possibility of contacting the outside world, not by phone or the Internet, which causes her anxiety in her personal life, as she hesitates between a sense of comfort for being near the old man, and a sense of fear and doubt towards him.
