In the Anvil slums, Jin Kazama sees his mother, Jun, get killed by Tekken. He makes the decision to seek retribution for his mother's passing after discovering a Tekken ID.

In the year 2039, most of the world has been destroyed by global conflicts, leaving only a few isolated settlements. When the young man, Jin Kazama, witnesses his mother being killed by Tekken mercenaries in the poor Anvil neighborhood, he vows to exact revenge on those responsible.
