When Gonzo receives messages via breakfast cereal and is convinced he is an alien, he tries to communicate with his alien family, but these attempts are intercepted by members of a secret government agency who put Gonzo in custody, whereupon Kermit the Frog and his friends must help Gonzo break out of prison.
