When Laila discovers that her husband is cheating on her, she kills him and his mistress before running away. Due to Farid's neglect of his work, Ahmed threatens to fire him. Ahmed is unsuccessful in convincing Amina to visit her estranged father.
Amina suspects that Ahmed's hospital is conducting medical trials on people and that the Axiom company has manufactured a mysterious virus. Yassin gets close to Hala.
Ahmed submits a cure for Hepatitis C virus, hoping to score a partnership with Mansour to start manufacturing it. Farid tries to convince Ahmed to be patient since they're not finished with the trials for the cure yet.
Farid accuses Ahmed of burying the truth about the deterioration of the condition of the child Reda, all so that he could sell the cure to Mansour. Cleopatra enlists Amina's help to uncover the corruption of Axiom and their trials on patients.
Ahmed starts his project with Mansour to manufacture the cure, offering for Mansour to manage the labs of Axiom. Mahmoud tries to fix his relationship with his daughter, Amina. Amina's predictions in her book, The Pledge, come true.
Amina's book is banned. Mansour announces to the media that they have a cure for the Hepatitis C virus. Reda's condition deteriorates, leaving him hanging between life and death.
When Reda dies, Amina accuses Ahmed of causing his death. Ma'rouf goes into shock after he loses his brother. Cleopatra gets a copy of The Pledge. Yassin informs Ma'rouf that the hospital is implicated in Reda's death.
When Mansour discovers that Hala is involved with Yassin, he threatens to kill Yassin if Hala doesn't keep her distance from him. Farid resigns in the wake of Reda's death, but Ahmed tries to convince him to reconsider. Amina and Cleopatra join forces to expose Mansour's scandals.
Yassin plans to buy the majority of Axiom's shares. Ahmed is interrogated about his involvement in conducting experiments on patients. Ahmed learns about Amina's connection to Yassin and their efforts to expose the corruption at the hospital and at Axiom.
Ahmed threatens to expose Mansour and their manufacturing of a virus and conducting experiements on patients if Mansour doesn't help him get acquitted. As Ahmed runs away, Mansour pledges to stay away from the former's family. Mansour discovers that Yassin has a sample of the virus.
Ma'rouf breaks into Ahmed's house and kills him. Wagida gets paralyzed in the wake of her son's death. Amina holds Yassin responsible for her husband's death. Ma'rouf kidnaps Hala.
Ma'rouf asks for 10 million pounds to return Hala. Farid locates the warehouse where Ma'rouf is holding Hala.
Yassin shoots Ma'rouf. Farid and Alfy set Hala free. Tension rises between Alfy and Hussein Allam after the former kicks Hussein out of the nightclub.
When Amina learns that Ahmed and Yassin used to be friends, Yassin recounts their falling out over the experimentation on patients. Amina discovers that an entire chapter is missing from her book.
Mansour is released after being questioned about Ahmed's murder. As Yassin buys Mansour's shares in Axiom., the former enlists the help of Hussein Allam and promises to reveal many secrets in an interview.
Amina's relationship with her father improves. Yassin blackmails Hussein to get him to comply with his orders. It's revealed that Ma'rouf is still alive.
Ma'rouf asks to join Sha'ban's gang to get revenge on Yassin and Mansour. Farid looks for a cure at the hospital. Qasema causes Hussein and Farid to quarrel.
Hussein threatens Yassin with seizing his shares in Axiom. Amina warns Yassin against Hussein, who is planning to implicate Yassin using documents proving that Axiom is manufacturing drugs.
The results for Farid's new cure look promising. When Sha'ban tasks Ma'rouf with killing Yassin, Ma'rouf breaks into Yassin's house and stabs him before running away.
Amina rushes Yassin to the hospital after she finds him in a pool of blood, only to discover that Yassin made arrangements for her to have full managment powers over Axiom if anything happened to him.
Amina kidnaps Hussein and injects him with the virus to force him to forfeit all his properties in exchange for the cure. As Yassin recuperates, he puts his hands on Hussein's company.
Farid suspects that Yassin has stolen the virus and the cure to control Axiom and Vacciom. Yassin puts Omar Alfy in charge of Vacciom. Hala accuses Amina and Yassin of seizing her father's companies and implicating her in it.
Amina refuses to remain in her position at Axiom. Farid's cure enters trials after it shows signs of effectiveness. Cleopatra refuses to marry Omar. Ma'rouf kills Sha'ban.
Saleh buys a lot of Axiom's shares. Yassin tells Alfy that he is in love with Amina. Amina tries to mend her bridges with Wagida.
Cleopatra quits her job in Egypt and travels abroad. Wagida starts receiving treatment to help her walk again. Yassin convinces Amina to return to Axiom.
Despite the conflict between their families, Farid prepares to ask for Hala's hand. Omar prepares to launch a news network under Vacciom's management. Yassin announces that his company has found a cure for the Hepatitis C virus.
Yassin tells Farid about his relationship with his brother Ahmed and how Ahmed sold him out to Mansour. Alfy recalls his cooperation with Yassin to kill his stepmother and seize her fortune. Yassin proposes to Amina.
When a number of fires break out at Axiom's hospitals, Yassin decides to open a security firm. The police arrest Ma'rouf and his men.
Saleh Ramzy asks to see Amina and Yassin. Amina tries to convince Hala to wed Farid. Saleh tells Amina that he is still in love with her. Yassin refuses to cooperate with Saleh.
Saleh informs Amina of Yassin's plot to bring Ahmed down using the experiment on Reda and getting Ma'rouf to kill Ahmed. Amina shoots Saleh, but she ends up getting killed by his guards.
