A mother and a daughter rescue a dog that becomes the mother's sweetheart. Her husband though doesn't like the dog, adding tension to their already fractious marriage. One day at a remote cabin, the husband looses the dog, pushing everyone to look for it and during the search they realize the need to work on their own relationships.
