Jumaa El Atak tries to sneak onto Hanadi's balcony to see her behind her father's back. When that fails, the couple agree to meet at the zoo, at which Jumaa enters into a hunt with the animals.

Jumaa goes to work as a servant in the house of the witch Nouria, but soon discovers that she is trying to lure him to marry her.

When Jumaa gets into an accident and is hit by Koraim's car, the latter demands compensation, accuses Jumaa of throwing himself in front of his car and requires Jumaa's marriage to his grandmother to compromise, but Jumaa chooses to go to prison.

After Jumaa and his father take their donkey Abu Saber to the hospital and the donkey is released, Jumaa and Allouli continue their work by collecting old items, upon which the police suspect them of mining the donkey to carry out a terrorist act, only to discover that the report is false.

Jumaa's father falls ill and the family takes him to the hospital. After a lot of blood was transfused to save his life, Jumaa discovers that the doctor transfused the blood of a sheep instead of a human for his father.

When a robbery takes place inside the school, the police accuse Jumaa's father of theft, whereupon Jumaa and the family try to prove their father's innocence until the police are sure and they release him.

Jumaa and Allouli decide to work in the police, but the pair soon fall into a crisis with the inspector general, who throws them into prison.

As Jumaa goes to the exhibition of goods and offers with Hanadi, he enters a big competition to win an electric generator. While Jumaa doubts his luck, he soon discovers from Hanadi that his number is the winner.

Jumaa's father uses his son to help him run the school's generator, but the pair soon cause a massive fire and are hospitalized.

Jumaa's father gets to know a girl through online chat rooms, and as he is about to get involved with her, Jumaa's mother finds out and decides to expose him.

Hanadi helps Jumaa to learn English before he travels to the USA. Jumaa escapes inside the coffin of a dead person, and arrives in America to find the family of the deceased man waiting for him, so he gets stuck being their breadwinner.

Jumaa and Allouli sell spices and aromatic herbs, and Jumaa's donkey, Abu Saleh, gets involved with his elephant girlfriend's family, who seeks to get him married to her.

After their employer closes the store, Jumaa and Allouli go from selling old items to selling Iraqi fashafesh dish, whereupon the police arrest them for selling on a public road.

Jumaa decides to marry Hanadi. When Jumaa's mother discovers that she is pregnant, Jumaa's father Maazal is shocked due to their old age.

An archaeological statue of a lion from the Babylonian civilization agrees that the donkey Abu Saber replaces him in order to go to the city with Jumaa and Allouli, and soon notices the great changes that have taken place to cause the fall of the Babylonian civilization.

After calls for demonstrations in Baghdad against the government, Jumaa goes to participate with the demonstrators to find himself their leader, and the police soon intervene to break up the demonstrations with violence.

While Jumaa searches for various ways to make money, he finally decides to formally propose to Hanadi from her father.
