A ghostly couple is disturbed when a loud, obnoxious family moves into their home. When their attempt to scare them away fails, they enlist the help of a malicious spirit, Beetlejuice, to drive them away. But the plan goes south when Beetlejuice grows infatuated with the human couple's daughter.
