During the last months of British control of Hong Kong, the journalist John discovers that his days in life are numbered. John realizes that he has no connection to Hong Kong despite having lived there for 15 years. He decides to use the time he has left to navigate the streets with a video camera to record people's lives and interview people to convey the real life in Hong Kong before his death.
