The evil master mind Gru lives in a mansion with his small army of minions, as he prepares for his most daring heist, he comes across three orphaned girls who disrupt his wicked plans.
As he begins to settle into his new family life, the ex-supervillain Gru is tasked to stop a lethal enemy named El Macho and save the world from his evil plan.
In this new movie, Gru enters a new confrontation with Balthazar Bratt, a child star from the 1980s. During this confrontation, Gru coincidentally meets Dru, his long-lost twin brother, and together, they plan to steal the largest diamond in the world from Bratt.
Gru faces many family challenges after his wife gives birth to their first child, coinciding with the escape of the criminal Maxime Le Mal, who decides to take revenge on his arch enemy Gru.
