Munir collapses after the piracy on his ships, the loss of his business, and the bankruptcy of the institution. Sally is afraid to tell Ammar, her fiancé, the truth about her family's financial situation so that he wouldn't leave her.

Ammar's mother, Sana, goes to visit Sally's family to agree on the dowry, while Munir decides to return to Baghdad.

Sana decides to marry Samir amid her son's anger. Dr. Daud visits Sally's mother, who is surprised that he suffers from Parkinson's disease.

Adel is shot, and Qasim, Mahasin's husband, is afraid of the police. Sally's mother tells Ammar that the palace they live in is the property of her deceased sister's husband, Munir.

Samir gets engaged to Sana despite the opposition of her son, who knows that he wants to exploit her, and he is surprised by the similarity between Sally and his deceased wife.

Munir imagines that his wife is in the room and thinks of all the memories. Sana treats her son badly and only cares about the arrangements for her marriage to Samir.

Dr. Daud visits Munir, who decides to make him stay with him in the palace. Sally's mother asks Mahasin to work in Munir's service.

Dr. Daud's daughter asks her father to claim his share in the palace, while Mahasin begins working in the palace to earn money to give it to Adel to avoid his evil.

Mustafa works for Ibtihal, who owns a production company. Dr. Daud's son visits his father at Munir's palace, where he gets to know Dina and she admires him.

The relationship between Dr. Daud's son and Dina strengthens, while Sally prepares herself for the wedding and buys the dress amid Sana's fear of Ammar.

Sally and Ammar's wedding goes well amid the joy of the family. Munir refuses to sell the palace and give the money to Daud, but he vows that he will never leave it.

Wiam meets Sally's mother and asks her to intervene with Munir so that he could give him his father's share of his partnership with him on the company that went bankrupt. Munir presents Sally with a pearl necklace.

The relationship between Mustafa and Ibtihal grows so strong that she wants to marry him. Sally's mother notices that her daughter Dina cares about Wiam, so she asks her to focus on her studies.

Munir decides to write his diary and agrees with the lawyer to give Dr. Daud a share of the palace. As Sana is robbed while she is in her house, Ammar accuses Samir of being responsible for the crime.

Samir goes to Qasim asking him to testify that he was with him during the crime, but Qasim refuses, and Mustafa quarrels with his wife because she treats him like a servant.

Ammar quarrels with his mother because of the loss of gold left by his father and accuses Samir of stealing it. Mustafa's condition worsens and he becomes addicted to alcohol every night because his wife hides the fact that they are married.

Adel returns and asks Qasim and Mahasin for money, while Sally's mother asks Wiam not to meet her daughter.

Ammar refuses that Samir stay at home despite his mother's insistence, while Adel threatens Qasim and Mahasin to expose their secret if they do not give him the money.

Samir stays with Noura in her home amid Ammar's grief, while Munir signs a share of the palace over to Dr. Daud.

Noura asks Samir that they buy a new bedroom. Adel's friends try to enter the palace with the intention of stealing.

Sana lights joss sticks in the house and hopes that her son Ammar will be pleased with her. Dina asks her mother about the fate of her father, who disappeared years ago.

Samir beats Sana on the first night he stays with her at home, and she complains to Mahasin, while Qasim's son goes to look for Adel who is hiding from him.

Samir treats Sana with cruelty. Munir asks Dr. Daud that his son get married in the palace, while Mustafa meets his wife, who tells him that she is pregnant and that he has to go back on the idea of divorcing her.

Adel threatens Qasim to kill him, and Wiam confesses to Dina his inability to marry her because of his poverty.

Samir tries to mend his relationship with Sana, and Sally's mother hopes that Wiam will agree to the marriage and live in the palace.

Samir is absent from the house and Sana is worried about him, especially since his phone is switched off. The police chase Raed, Qasim's son, by shooting him.

Raed turns to his parents so that he could hide at their house. Samir asks Sana to give him the land to build and rent a house. Abdel Ghani, Fayza's husband, dies and she is forced to sell the house because of the inheritance.

Wiam seriously considers living with his father in the palace but thinks about the situation of his aunt Fayza. Raed spends several days at his parents' house.

Qasim is afraid of Adel and his son tries to calm him down. Mustafa takes over the management of Ibtihal's company and tries to patch things up with her.

Mahasin tries to convince Samir to divorce Sana and pay her alimony. Sana goes to court by herself without telling her son anything, and Mustafa tries to mend his relationship with his wife for the sake of the child.

Samir is imprisoned for forging contracts and Emad asks his mother to move on. Munir is sad that his daughter is not in his life. Raed takes drugs and threatens Adel that he'll kill his parents.

Samir is imprisoned due to several accusations, and Samira is sad about her fate. Adel shoots and kills Raed amid the grief of Mahasin. Munir imagines that he is accompanied by his wife, Manal.
