The events take place in the Sayyida Nafisa neighborhood, where Fathia works in a shack serving drinks to drivers, while she and her daughters live in a burial ground with her husband Karkar.
Inaam and Karawan are in love and she asks him to marry her. The Public Funds Investigations Department arrests one of Akram's men with a large sum of money.
Sherine is still suffering from the loss of her husband Louay. Ahmed Ezz asks Sherine's company to implement his new project, while Mostafa persuades Elham to become a dancer.
Fathia is still suffering from Karkar's behavior and his use of the yard for people to take drugs. Karkar agrees that Elham work as an actress. Ikram obtains a bachelor's degree in media, so Essam trains her in the newspaper's economics department.
Zakaria asks his sister, Sherine, that she run for the elections. Suzy begins teaching Elham to dance. Ikram's first article in the newspaper achieves great success. Akram asks Zakaria to help him allocate land for him to build food factories.
Nageh asks Akram to donate a sum of money to a residential city in Sohag. Fathia overhears Inaam asking Karawan to run away with him, so she beats her and asks him to leave the place. Ikram's successes in the press continue.
Karawan leaves the place, and Elham begins working as a dancer under the name Lulu. Ikram's investigation angers Akram because it's related to his currency trade, so his wife Dina advises him to bribe Ikram, who rents an apartment.
Ikram is hired as a journalist for the newspaper, and she goes to dinner with Essam and discovers that Elham works as a dancer, not an actress, and Essam sees Elham and remembers her.
Dina meets Ikram and asks her to do an advertising campaign for Akram's companies. The friendship between Fathia and Galal, the owner of a television station, grows strong because of his insistence on having coffee with her. Elham buys herself an apartment.
Akram agrees with Dina that he marry Ikram to get rid of her articles in the newspaper, and Sherine and Abu El Ezz get engaged. Akram presents a one hundred thousand pounds check to Ikram and asks her for her hand in marriage.
Sharif and Essam ask for Ikram's hand in marriage, but she agrees to marry Akram. Elham visits Fathia, who kicks her out after Inaam told her that she is a dancer. It turns out that Karawan is not a crazy man.
Suzy warns Elham against Tayseer, while Inaam discovers a fake passport belonging to Karawan and starts searching for him. Ikram marries Akram.
Elham marries Tayseer. Inaam tells Elham about her pregnancy by Karawan, so Elham helps her to have an abortion. It turns out that Karawan is a drug dealer.
Ikram meets Labeeb, the Minister of Finance, and hosts him on her program. Tayseer orchestrates the arrest of Mostafa for drug possession, while an article is published about Abu El Ezz's violations.
Ikram's campaigns against currency dealers continue. Elham finds Karawan and threatens him that if he refuses to marry Inaam, she will hand him over to the police.
Karkar has a customary marriage with a young woman and she robs him. Galal hires Fathia in the channel's buffet, while Bahiya tells Akram that he has lost a large sum.
Abu El Ezz is arrested. Ikram discovers Fathia’s work in the channel, so she asks Galal to fire her, but he refuses and kicks Ikram out, after which the latter marries Labeeb. Inaam escapes from the hospital and goes to Karawan.
Inaam kills Karawan and dies. Labeeb dies in jail, after he and Akram are arrested. Mostafa is released from prison and disfigures Elham's face, so she returns to the yard and he marries her. Essam dies and Ikram attends his burial, where she meets her parents and runs away after everyone knows who she is.
