Umm Abdullah's children and grandchildren live in her house and under her control. Haya resents her control over her husband Khaled's decisions and asks him to move to live in a separate house.
Mai tells her mother, Umm Abdullah, about Hamad’s request to marry her, but she refuses because of the age difference between them. Umm Abdullah quarrels with her son because of his son Bashar’s desire to get married before completing his studies.
Khaled and Abdullah quarrel because of their children, and Mai discovers that Hamad is married to another woman.
Hamad asks Mai to keep their marriage as a secret so that his first wife does not find out, and Abdullah gets angry when he discovers that his mother ruined his son Bashar’s marriage.
Umm Abdullah tells her son Khaled about her decision to sell the company. Haya tries to incite Khaled against his mother, and Mai asks Mirna to trap Hamad in her net to make sure of his loyalty to her.
As Badr tells Umm Abdullah about his love for her daughter Mai, Bashar asks his father to travel abroad to complete his studies, and Hamad tries to fix things between him and Mai.

Badr is surprised by a woman named Laila telling him that his father has transferred ownership of the house to her name, and Abdullah’s second wife complains about his son Tariq’s mistreatment of her.
