RJ Stevens (Martin Lawrence) presents a talk show on television and, despite his humble origins, he has been a great success and a role model. RJ lives a delighted life with his fiancee, a beautiful reality TV star, but he has some old dreams he has yet to achieve. His parents announce a ceremony to mark their fiftieth anniversary, and he finds it a chance to accomplish his old dreams.
